I had high hopes for this as my bird feeder ended up attracting rats. I put one ball directly under the feeder and set a camera up. After dark, I looked and saw two rats, one within a foot of the ball. Maybe it would work better inside. I ended up sprinkling chili powder over the area. That worked.
