Aesthetically and mechanically sound. Installation was very simple. As noted by other reviewers, we have to leave about a 2 inch gap from the bottom in order to have the blinds have 100% privacy. That's not a too much of a bummer. What was surprising is how dark the 'light grey' is. It's more like a tungsten grey... almost what I would expect a dark grey to be. Regardless, not a show stopper. We're looking to gradually install more on our other windows. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We just bought a new house and wanted to replace the ugly contractor grade vertical blinds. At first, I was very nervous ordering “custom” blinds especially with having to provide exact measurements. The ordering platform on Amazon is very helpful and easy to fill out the specifics. After submitting the measurements and placing the order. Persilux reached out via email to verify measurements, which I was pleased with because it made me double check myself one more time. I placed the order on 8/29 and received them 9/08. They were packed well and instructions were clear. It was by far the easiest installation I’ve done for any project. I am so happy as they look modern sleek and for the price of custom shades..you CANNOT get any better. To be honest, I like these way more than my previous Levelor custom shades which were 10x the price. If your thinking about the custom option DO IT you will thank me later. Our old vertical blind broke and since it’s very dated no replacement parts available. Got this and overall was please and like the modern look. However the only way I can get it to black out is to end up leaving a 1” gap on the bottom. Cuz even if I tried to pull it down to the bottom, the zebra will just open up and can’t be blacked out. If anyone know of a way to adjust that, let me know! Otherwise I would’ve given it a 5 star. ... show more
