Not entirely the sellers fault, but. Box got totally crushed, and there's no packing inside of the box which is three times the size it needs to be for the contents inside. It's a wonder the pegs are intact and the bags didn't tare. Otherwise, it's exactly what I ordered. Seems odd though that the colors are completely mixed between both bags. There was not enough beads in the color of Celeste. The only other one I’ve done is Isabelle and there was enough for that one.

This was my first time using Perler and it was very fun, sadly I didn’t have enough dark brown beads for Blathers who was the last one I needed to make. So I made some modifications and made him a little smaller and added some green for his bow. Although I would have preferred to make him look like what the box showed I think I like him more the way I made hime ... show more

I bought this with basically no experience with Perler beads. I played with them as a child but that was just flinging a bunch at the board and ironing over them. Not exactly a real experience. The box says Age 6+. I have to laugh at that suggestion. It’s at least age 45+ because even being over 30, this was frustrating. The beads come jumbled together which wasn’t so bad until I got down to having white, cream, yellow, and shell colored beads. Telling them apart sucked! Then I sat down to make the one I was most excited for, Celeste. The directions are nonexistent and the colors are unclear. I tried picking the one closest to Celeste and ran out as I got to the bottom of the bow. It’s not even her in game color, but there isn’t one that is! I also needed tweezers that were large enough to hold the beads. Luckily, I am crafty in general and the tweezers used to thread my serger work fine. For something I have to do with large tweezers and carefully placing each bead, trying not to run into any others… Picking the short numbered ones off the pegboard felt like a crushing defeat. I got this intending it to be a casual thing to relax after work. This was a mistake. I’d rather be fired with my rent due, forced to do my taxes on paper, and made to read an entire terms and conditions page word for word before I ever do this again. This was awful. I did not get a container for the beads all I got was 2 bags of beads that I had to sort myself and buy a separate organizer for 20 bucks that will fit all the beads.

Love the designs in this kit, but it doesn't come with enough beads for each design. I wasn't able to finish Celeste at all without buying additional beads.
