    • A little tricky to get going
Received this item yesterday and couldn't wait to try it out. Bummer! It would not light! I ended up taking the grill off it and using a Bic lighter to get it going. Read the manual and figured the adjustment screw in the back of the valve needed tweaked. Easy enough to find but really poor instructions as to how to access it. I tried unscrewing and prying off the cover. No joy. Finally discovered in the center is a small cover held on by adhesive that you pry off to access the adjustment. NO WHERE in the instructions did it mention this fact! Once I found how to access the little allen screw adjustment was easy. A little trial and error to find the sweet spot and it fires up with only 2-3 clicks on the igniter button. ... show more

I had read some reviews before in purchasing this and if you just turn it on about a quarter and click the button you can tell when the blue flame pops up just to hold the button for at least 10 seconds. It works fine.

Item was a Christmas present for my husband who plays golf whenever it is not too cold so he thought this would be perfect as most of his buddies have the exact unit. It was a disappointment that it did not work even though all of the guys in the golfing group tried their best. I had to return it.
