  • Works great!
Size: One Size
As soon as you get the hang of using it, it will take no time to make a bunch! I’m using them to make toys for my birds :)

  • More fun that I figured
Size: One Size
This makes straws into springy toys for my sugar glider to enjoy and play with. She loves grabbing them and carrying them around with her. And takes them into her various pouches to play and sleep with. It's very easy to use and adjust. Love it!

  • Fun craft toy for old and young
Size: One Size
Awesome little gadget and easy enough for all ages as long as you have enough coordination to hold a straw in one hand and twirl the gadget with the other. Lots of fun for bird toys and crafts...maybe fun hair bows or gift wrapping too. The thickness of the spiral is easily adjusted. The thicker it is, the less it droops. I found the thickest to be best for most things. The thinnest setting makes the whole thing too limp for any use I can thing of...maybe a bunch of them to fill a tiny gift box instead of tissue paper? ... show more

  • Good for parrot toys
Size: One Size
Purchased this to make bird, as in parrot, toys. It makes a straw into one big curly piece. After you make a bunch, tie them together with a cable tie or piece of leather. You can make it part of other toys too. I gave it 4 stars because it does not work well through the bendy part of the straw, it often cuts it off, but you still get plenty of straw left. It can break easily but it is inexpensive. My birds love the toys with the colored twirly straws. ... show more

  • Great for making pet toys!
Size: One Size
What a nifty tool to have around! I have been tossing money down the drain, for a long time, buying pet toys, with curled straws, for .. too long. lol.. Now, I just go to the dollar store, buy a few packs of color straws, wind them thru this thing, zip strip them into a bunch, and wah-lah! Gliders and birds have so much fun with curled straws, and, its a safe toy - Im pleased! Side note - this could be achieved with most any mechanical pencil sharpener, but, unlike those, this one, has the red pin twister thing ( not sure what else to call it) but, it lets u easily twist to adjust the pin so that u can get a variety of curls from your straws, so, not each one, will be the same size. ... show more

  • Does what it's supposed to do
Size: One Size
I bought the wacky whirly to spiral straws for my sugar gliders. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. There is a bit of a learning curve. I found it easiest to insert the straws at a very small angle and apply continuous pressure to the straw while twirling (twirl the straw, not the wacky whirly). ... show more

  • Flimsy crap that gives you about 50 straws before the blade gives out.
Size: One Size
Great idea, but this product is a flimsy piece of junk. When I received this, it worked really well, and I was ecstatic. However, after about 50 straws, it stopped working. After running about half as many straws as I had successfully cut, I used a magnifier to look inside. The blade is the things piece of flimsy crap; I can't believe it even survived 50 straws. Definitely a waste of money. ... show more
