Description

Pepe Tools newest family of Rolling Mills, The Ultra Series, made in Oklahoma City, Ok. USA are redesigned for Jewelers and Crafts-people. This series is 30 to 50 percent the weight of Casted Rolling Mills, made from precision steel for ultra strength and durability. Rolling Mills are designed for cold rolling metal to produce thinner gauges of sheet metal and wire, transferring textures to your metal and to make the thickness uniform. Pepe Tools reduction gear ratio of 4:1 allows the rollers to make one complete turn for every four turns of the rolling mill handle. This relieves the amount of force needed to operate the rolling mill. The "T" bar at the top of the Rolling Mill is used to open or close the rollers. When completely closed the rollers , should measure "true" cylindrically. This means they should touch with no visible gaps. Should there ever be a gap, meaning the rollers are not "true", simply remove the two small screws holding the "T" bar cover , pull the "T" bar handle off and turn the large gears to move the roller(s) down until there is no visible gap, making them "true", then re-install the "T" bar and cover. OK, This is not going to be your standard review. This machine is a general rule Is very well built. But there have been questions about the warranty On these roller Mills. I believe I can answer Some of those questions. Let's start out with saying I bought one of these machines And It does exactly what it's supposed to do. I did have a malfunction And My Amazon return time limit had expired. So I called the manufacture. They are based in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. I spoke to Tony. When I explained that I had a problem with the machine I got an interesting surprise. This is a direct quote Of what he said. Quote No Sir you do not have a problem, We have a have a problem and it Will get resolved. I was actually speechless For a few seconds. I have heard stories about customer service Still existing, But I thought it was a ghost story. Anyway I told him what the problem was As far as I could tell Then he stepped me through Some details with the machine And verified that there in fact was a damaged gear. He then preceded to tell me I could go ahead and send him the damaged parts And he would replace them for No charge! I paid for shipping because I needed Expedited delivery. So when it comes to the quality of the machines, They are the best on the market. When it comes to the customer service that back Companies equipment, there has never been Better support For a product. You will be Pleased with The roller mill. And if you do have a problem with it. This company will support It And they will find you a solution. I am absolutely thrilled To know that customer service Still exists! This is beyond five star quality. PS. Made in the USA. As good of quality as I was hoping for. This is a HEAVY solid piece of equipment. Fully assembled except for the hand crank which was easy to put on. Came with the tool to attach it 👍 Totally worth the money. I have a feeling this thing will last forever. I’ve spent more money on lesser quality tools. Now I know how Kimmy Schmidt felt in the bunker because you will definitely be able to skip arm day at the gym when you use it! 10/10 would recommend 😊 ... show more

I have wanted a rolling mill for ages. There are two major brands and I went for the American as it was here, less expensive. I wasn’t disappointed. It was a breeze to set up and use. Already rolled an ingot of 3 inches into 4K’ of square wire. Worth the investment, do read instructions before you in pack! ... show more

I'm always running out of square wire, so I have decided to make my own. After some research, I have purchased the Pepe rolling mill for the quality and variety of sizes and shapes. After reading the instructions, the wire were so easy to make and they came out beautiful. I couldn't be happier!

Excellent product and build quality. Packaginging not sufficient for internatiinal shipping though. Mill was delivered upside down and had ripped from the corrugated base it was bolted to. No damage was done to the mill which attests to the robustness of the piece. I suggest the use of a light wooden crate for international shipping. ... show more

    • Not for humid environments.
10 months in and the steel rollers have become visibly corroded despite regular oilings. Too late otherwise I’d definitely return. Now my sheets come out with the fine texture of former rust. I wish I would have gone with a brand that uses stainless or has a rust proof surface.

Cheaper on here (amazon.com) than on the Canadian (amazon.ca) by a few hundred dollars with the import fees included, and cheaper than in any store I found it, plus it works great very good quality machine
