Let me begin by saying I am not a huge fan of non-glitter gel pens due to the end result not looking evenly coated once dry, resulting in it looking like a child colored it. I had bought the Pentel Milky Pop gel pens with one goal in mind - to get even coverage. I barely had to touch the page to get the outline set, and then came the true test. Coloring the inside and having it dry evenly. (*The blue in the photo is not the blue from this pack*, it’s a reference for what I’m sure many of us experience with our non-sparkly gel pens). As you can see, the color is even and, against the black background, it definitely POPS! I will definitely be ordering more is these pens in the future! ... show more

I’m not sure I would go as far as saying these are pastel as much as they are neon color. The ink comes out in fluid form with ease and the colors are bright. Doesn’t blend well for coloring with them and looks streaky but then again using them for small details is great.

I tried several brands before I decided to give these a try. I am so glad that I did. As for the writing these pens are smooth and do but smear. I love the ink colors they work perfectly for my use. Give these a try they show up great on a black background.

I like these but as you can see, some of them need multiple coats to be visible. Some write smoothly while others skipped several times. The white was the worst for me and that's the one that comes with 2 pens. The colors are pretty but since the ink skips so much I wouldn't use it for anything too fancy.
