I purchased this rocker chair a little over a year ago and initially, I was very pleased with it. However, after using it regularly, I have noticed that it has started to squeak badly. I have tried various methods to fix the issue, such as WD-40 and tightening/loosening all the joints, but nothing seems to work. I did not opt for the $50, 2 year warranty as I did not think it was necessary b/c if something is defective, you either replace or reimburse. I'm well within the 2 years. Also, I have another rocker that I've had for 10 years from Big Lots and NEVER an issue (believe it or not). The chair is clearly defective and I believe the manufacturer should provide a replacement. The squeaking is unbearable. I would like to either receive a replacement chair or a refund for this defective product. I hope the manufacturer will address this issue promptly and provide a solution for their customers. ... show more

Update: 8/11/22. It lasted 6 months. Now it won’t swivel. Something broke and it just grinds. Looking for a new chair. Purchased this for a family member who needed a new glider. She asked for one that had a higher seat than her previous chair as she was having trouble rising from it. This chair was a few inches taller from the floor to the seat. The back is high and comfortable for her (5'6") and the ottoman height is optimal for her. Fabric seems good, there was a slight scuff on one of the sides but it's barely noticeable. We bought two identical recliners received at the same time. Both boxes had small tears and bruised. First chair all was good but not as dark brown as pictured. Second recliner was missing hardware specifically a 3/4” bolt the chair hinged on. Not happy with the way things turned out.
