Simply knead the clay for about 2-3 minutes. Then roll the clay out with the included rolling pin onto a piece of aluminum foil (not included). Once you have the desired thickness, press their tiny hand or foot into the non-toxic, soft air-drying clay. Press gently but firm enough to capture your baby’s precious imprint. Use the included ruler to cut the clay print into a square. Let the clay dry for about 24-48 hours. Once dry, place the print inside the frame with the double-sided tape. Love this idea. Originally did this years ago with my first child and this year did it again for my 2nd. It’s a cute way to remember what your little one looked at ‘X’ age as well as how ting their little hands and feet were. It’s easy to put together and hang up. Only pain is when you are initially trying to get the hand/foot print and having to re-do it over and over. But that is of no fault of the company. Instead I’d like to add that the “putty” stays moist in the process with the constant re-doing of the imprint and the rolling of it out each time. Es muy buena marca de arcilla para hacer huellas de tu bebé y tener un lindo recuerdo de tu recién nacido(a).     • Beautiful way to save memories
Great father's day gift! great quality. But one hand did just fall down after about 6 mos, so I need to restick it up there with a better adhesive. I think it's because the clay is porous. Thinking about using hot glue, and hoping I don't melt anything!

Was very easy to put together and use. Only thing is to make sure the surface you put the putty on is flat otherwise when you try to tack it to the paper it falls off. I used super glue and it seems to be holding well.

The Good: - The instructions are pretty good & give you a good idea of what to do. - Once you get a good print, they look awesome & show up well in the frame (the picture of the prints in my frame look a little faint because of the glare from my phone) - You get to do arts & crafts with a newborn! - If the print doesn’t come out the first time, you can keep trying until you get a good print - The frame looks to be of better than average quality. The bad: - It is really hard to get a flat hand print! We tried about 6 times before we got a good one ... that whole grasp reflex means that they grab at the clay & smear the print. I recommend 2 people (one holding the clay & one pushing the hand one finger at a time into it) - The clay is a bit stiff & you have to push the kid’s hand/foot pretty hard into it ... if I thought my kid was fragile it would be a concern that I’d hurt them, but they were totally unphased. - The adhesives don’t work great ... 2 earthquakes and the foot fell, so I have to reposition it. - The instructions for rolling out the clay forget to mention that you need to make it big enough to trim the edges off ... we ended up with oval impressions instead of rectangular ones. - Getting a flat surface to do the imprint on was problematic - we had to pull out my marble rolling pin to get a flatter surface. ... show more

Loved there were individual bags to mix one for the hand and one for the foot. This was so easy to make and put together. Just follow the directions

I have gotten one for each of my 3 children when they were babies. They are also really customizable. I grabbed some cute fabric and some Mod Podge and covered the frames and backing for the footprint prior to adhering the footprint. So cute!
