I love that this is mess free for paws and is super easy to use. The only negative aspect is that if you have to do multiple tries, the ink starts to run out. I would say you have around 5-7 tries to get a good result. A tip: my cat has longer fur, and that includes between her paw pads. Some of the results were coming out blurry, so I trimmed the hair and got much better results. If your pet has longer fur, trimming it beforehand may be a good idea! ... show more

IF you have a small dog…My advice would be to practice the position you’ll hold your dog and put his paws down as if you were already making the prints. Being on the floor did not work for me and my yorkie. He immediately pulled away and there was no paw print just two smears. Best way was for me to sit on the floor, put him on my lap, and just hold his two front paws on my coffee table. I was able to slightly press his paws onto the paper with zero movement on his part. Finding a position where your pet is comfortable is key!! I wish it would’ve came out better but I think it was my fault. Might get another one, now that I know how to do it. It works excellent! I accidentally did a users error, but I highly recommend this product, very easy to use on your pets & MESS FREE! Will be ordering more! (On paper is a my cats back paw, big paw on wood is my Doberman) very gift-able too!

You can see in my photos the blotchy ones were done first. Too much ink and possibly too much pressure. I was about to throw it away. However, I used one white card as scrap and swept my finger all along the plastic screen to get rid of some of the ink onto the scrap card. Once that was done, I could more easily get a good paw print. Even light pressure on the 3rd and 4th try was blotchy. After some ink was removed, some areas on the paw print would have more ink that others. Eventually I got two paw prints (one for each dog) that are decently usable. If you have a dog who has to get groomed (my dog who has hair has the larger paw in my photos), I’d get their paw hairs trimmed before attempting. I think it will be cleaner. Okay for the price. Wish it had better instructions/tips on the package or a video. ... show more

I bought the single small pad that comes with two pieces of cardstock for a few bucks. I took two prints of each of my two cats and I am very happy with the result. I now have keepsakes that are nice on their own and may be used for future tattoos. The ink will apply or smear easily, so you need a pet that will stay still, and when you press their paw down you too need to be careful to do it so their paw doesn't slide. I used different parts of the ink pad for each print and that worked well. The pad looks like it may not have enough ink to reuse the same spot with good results. I think the product is good and serves it's purpose and the results will just come down to whether you can press a print without either of you moving. 🙂 ... show more

Does exactly what it says on the label; Allows for you to imprint a paw print while keeping the animal clean and ink free. We used it for our ferret friend. Only complaint is the extreme lack of any detailed instructions for best results, while the process isn't as straight forward for a decent print. Pressing too softly wont leave anything of course, but too hard or too long makes the ink smudge quite a bit. You have to be firm yet quick, as if the animal's paw was an actual stamp. Had to take several tries to get a decent image, and the ink gets used up per attempt so it runs out fast. Still, got what I paid for, so only taking 1 star off for inconveniences of the first time experience. May buy again and hopefully have better results the second time around. ... show more
