Works great, never had any problems locking on to flags. Compared with a name brand rangefinder that was 5x the price and both consistently gave the same distances. Only small downside is that it seems to go through batteries fairly quickly. All things considered, it’s unbeatable for the price.

    • Great low cost golf rangefinder

I ordered this as a deal on Prime Day and received today, so these are initial impressions. I have wanted a rangefinder but could never justify the high cost. With sprinkler head markers and GPS, it is not totally necessary. What is nice with a rangefinder is knowing the distance to or over a hazard. At the low price of this item, I decided to take a chance. I am glad I did. I live on a golf course, so I shot a couple flags and other objects from my yard. I got the yardages quickly and the results were repeatable. That is all I ask. This rangefinder has "flag acquisition" technology and that should not be confused with "pin seeker" technology. This one locks on a flag or any object that you sight and press the acquisition button. It could have been called boulder acquisition technology. Pin seeker requires reflectors on the flagstick to work and all courses do not have them. This rangefinder does not have a scan mode and it only locks on a point. Also not a problem as a point is what I am looking for instead of trying to follow a continually changing display. The slope feature is a nice added feature at this low price. All in all, it is quick and easy to use and all most people will ever need. It does not give you every feature, just the ones you need. I drove around a few holes on the course and the flags I shot corresponded quite well with the distances on the score card. Slope added or subtracted a few yards as it should. I bought this for my son for his birthday and we find it to be pretty accurate, but you have to have an almost perfectly steady hand in order to get an accurate reading. In comparison to other similar products price wise it matches up pretty well. I'd recommend it but you really need 2 hands to keep it steady.. ... show more

This is hands down the best range finder for the price. I’ve tried a few others. Blue tees. Gogogo. And I didn’t like either. I’d shoot 5 dif times and get 5 dif distances. This rangefinder is so accurate. So easy to use. Just try to hover it over the flag or whatever target you want and it vibrate locks on and gives perfect distance. This one I shoot 5 dif times and get same distance. It really is super easy to use. Easiest I’ve ever used. And it gives same distance my buddies have with their callaway and bushnell expensive rangefinders. Definitely give it a try. If you’re like me. You’ll keep this one. ... show more

    • Great value and performance, PEAKPULSE 6 Pro Golf Laser Rangefinder

I have used the PEAKPULSE 6 Pro Golf Laser Rangefinder for 12 rounds. My playing partners use expensive rangefinders (Nikon, Leupold, etc.), allowing me to compare the PEAKPULSE with high-end devices. The PEAKPULSE 6 Pro Golf Laser Rangefinder is right-on in distance comparisons with very expensive rangefinders. I really like the vibration feature that indicates when the device has returned a range to a target. The slope feature also matches much more expensive rangefinders. The only downside of the PEAKPULSE 6 Pro Golf Laser Rangefinder is lacking a gyro/stabilization feature. It is challenging holding the rangefinder steady, but I do consistently get accurate readings. If you want to have a rangefinder that is very easy to use, is very accurate, has a very clear 6x viewfinder, and saves you $300 over comparable models -- purchase the PEAKPULSE 6 Pro Golf Laser Rangefinder. You cannot go wrong. Pros: Very clear 6x viewfinder Very accurate distance readings, especially on the flag Simple operation (easy to use) Vibration feature (device returns a vibration when target is acquired). This product totally failed to perform its basic function. If you are reading this, you know the function is to measure the distance from a golfer to the pin. It is expected that one instrument may vary by a yard or two from another, but measurements with this device were consistently at least fifty yards off. Obviously, the device was non-functional. (Note that I gave honest answers on the stars above. The product seems to be nicely made, and the optics are quite good. The electronics were obviously defective.) But now the real fun started. Following the instruction manual, I emailed the indicated address for return or repair. After two attempts, I got no reply. So I went to the vendor website, emailed the help address there, and again got no reply whatsoever. So, in summary: Product does not work, vendor does not respond. This is by a long measure the worst product I have ever gotten from Amazon, and it was not inexpensive. I suspect that the company makes many functional products, but this one was not, and it is inexcusable that the vendor will not reply to a customer. This vendor either needs to change their policies or be removed from Amazon. This is not what I expect from Amazon. I go out of my way to use Amazon because they are generally so reliable. ... show more

Bought this range finder due to the good reviews I read. Supposedly there's a slope function but it does not work. Tried it on different golf courses with slope greens but no luck. Totally inaccurate website description.
