This wired controller from IFYOO feels good in your hands, and the black part on the sides is just textured enough to ensure you won't drop it in the middle of a game. The buttons and triggers are responsive, and the joysticks worked well and come with an optional pawprint cover. The center light has several color options or can be toggled off if preferred. I tested it on GTAV, Mafia III, and Red Dead Redemption, and it seemed to work well. The only problem I had was that I come from a Playstation background, so I'm used to the bottom button on the right being the "X" button. It was just a little weird in Mafia III to see an "A" prompting me to press what, to me, is the "X" button, but perhaps there are controller settings to change that in the game that I couldn't find. In IFYOO's defense, the controller buttons are labeled with both PS and Xbox markings, but that makes the bottom button look like an "A" on top of an "X", and the button on the left an "X" in a square. If you can mentally make that transition, this controller is a solid option for you. ... show more

Tested this using KOF14 via Steam and an Alienware laptop. (Your mileage may vary for other genres of games...) First, don't be worried about the 37-page manual; only nine pages are in English, and I barely glanced over it once before plugging it in and finding out everything worked out of the box as expected. The left stick and D-pad mirror each other by default, but that's configurable. The D-pad is an actual, traditional d-pad, where the directions are all connected vs. four independent buttons underneath, for all that that implies, good (smoother controls when performing specials in fighting games) and bad (no fancy FightBox like shenanigans here). Watching inputs in training mode, the buttons were all snappy and responsive and did what you expected, when you expected. The heft is nice--enough to feel substantial without being so heavy that it leads to fatigue. The vibration is solid. The ability to turn off/change the color of the lighting effect is a nice touch. As good as any controller at its price point and really competitive with things at double the price (at least out of the box... will let you know how it wears). If I had to pick a criticism--and it's a minor one--there's a curious differential between the button feel between the shoulders buttons and every other button. Most buttons have a "linear" feel--think blue switches, in keyboard terms--but the shoulders have a "clicky" feel--think red switches. Because KOF maps the shoulders to the same moves as two face buttons by default, it meant you could execute specials using either, but the timing would change. But this could just as easily be viewed as a feature--having buttons with different activations for different playstyles. ... show more

I own 5 IFYOO controllers 4 I vine reviewed and 1 I actually bought about year and 1/2 ago before I was a viner. They all work great and have at least one of them held up almost 2 years but I don't daily use them. I have used them for racing and platform games mainly, some fighting games like MK10 and SF5. The turbo and all advertised features work and I have never really had any serious flaws happen. The joystick covers are pretty nice they are pretty grippy but i think a lady will probably enjoy their look more than most guys. I told my niece this was her controller and no guy not even me can use it, she liked hearing that lol. (Don't tell her I had to test it to make sure it worked to review it hehe) Only thing i have to warn you on is the LT and RT is not 100% analog 50% of the press is digital and then it will gradually increase from 51%-100% as analog. This is how they turbo the trigger buttons. Most games it isn't a problem but in racing games it can mess you up. Messes me up mainly in the trials games from UBIsoft, it is nearly impossible to do ninja tracks with this controller. So in that game recommend you find a true 100% LT/RT analog controller. In normal car racers instant 50% throttle can lead to problems if you say only need 10% throttle so, if you racing competitively or need that precision throttling you also might not want to use these controllers for racing games. This is an excellent controller which I recommend. Observations: The cord is a little short, but manageable. It's not that short, but you can't sit across the room and use it. It's a foot shorter than another generic controller I had sitting around. But this isn't a game changer. The controller feels solid in my hand. It has a contoured grip which gives a good, solid feel. It has a good response. I tested it with Assassin's Creed Origins, a Super Mario Bros game I downloaded, and some old arcade games. It worked great with all of these. The covers that go over the sticks (the puppy paw things) are a little hard to put on, but once on they're not coming off and I'm sure they will stay on for a long time. These make using the two directional sticks easier to use without your fingers slipping off. There is a vibration feature on the joystick as well. This device worked without any drivers. The English portion of the instruction manual is nine pages long and comes in a thick booklet. It's very detailed and not the typical large sheet folded twelves times so it fits into a box. There are many features and the four LED lights on the bottom of the stick tell the modes which are explained in the booklet. I did not need to change anything so I didn't mess with changing anything. It worked perfectly without any adjustments. But, if you wanted to change from X-input to D-input and use that API, the instructions are in the booklet. I play my games exclusively on PC. I always use the keyboard. But after seeing how easy my Steam games detect and use this joystick, I'm going to try skipping the keyboard and mouse. I want to use this now for these games.
