Purchased this chair because a $300 office chair from a retail store was losing support after two years. I should've expected with the price tag that there would be some shortcomings. It's a decent chair, but not too sturdy, nor too comfortable. The seating pad is quite thin for extended use, the screws holding the armrest pads are too long and add two bumps to each, the armrests themselves have already become equally loose, and without the included lumbar pillow, it feels like your back is on a hard plastic wall. I work from home and game regularly, so I spend a lot of time in my office chair. This one ended up being a bust for the amount that I use it, but could be ideal for someone who might not be in the chair as long. I ordered a Secret Lab chair to replace this one and will likely give it to my 11 year old. ... show more

    • Absolutely cannot beat it for the price
I will say that I purchased this primarily for office work, with a little gaming on the side, so I'm in it a LOT. The attachable pillows/massager are perfectly placed and you have a lot of wiggle room for adjustment. When I sit all the way back in it, it feels wonderful. I didn't realize it came with the vibration massage pillow when I purchased it, and I haven't used it much because it is too loud for me during work, but it is a nice little feature if you're not communicating over a headset, relatively mild but noticeably keeps you from tensing up when gaming. I will say that the tilt of the bottom portion of the seat, while designed to keep your posture aligned properly, does make it a bit irritating to sit in for long periods of time. If you slouch, you will feel quite a bit like you're going to slide right off the front of it, and from what I know of gamers, this could be a deal breaker for some. I spend no fewer than 40 hours a week in it and have noticed a significant decrease in neck, shoulder and back pain from my previous one. So despite the minor annoyance, I would still highly recommend it to anyone who spends long hours in their chair. Assembly was incredibly easy, absolutely everything you need is included right in the box, and I assembled it on my lunch break. It IS heavy; if you have to retrieve it from anywhere but your front door, I would recommend a partner or a dolly. The only issue was that the instructions that came with the chair were definitely for a chair with different holes drilled in the bottom and it threw me for a minute before I figured out where it was supposed to go (the holes are just further back, and pictured as centered). This combined with the noticeable forward tilt of the chair DOES make me question a bit if possibly the HOLES were misdrilled and the instructions were correct, but the chair is still pretty great, as-is, so I'm really not certain. ... show more

Uses metal screws, not plastic. Comfort of chair is great. Other reviews mention the chair is hard to assemble. It is not hard to assemble, however, it does require a little easy effort, involving a couple dozen screws and some fitting of parts. I personally do not like assembly, but assembling the chair was no problem. All the parts easily fit together without problem and the instruction guide was simple and provided 5 easy to follow steps. No tools required. The chair comes with a headrest that really adds to the comfort. It also comes with vibrating lumbar support, but I have not tried the vibrator yet. Armrests adjust up and down. Recline mechanism works well as does height adjustment. Chair is quiet, no squeaking or other noises. ... show more

4 stars for this chair reason being the wheels on are not so great gets kind of stuck once in a while I'll have to move different directions in order to flow nicely but I do recommend the chair if you're a gamer.

I like just about every aspect of this chair, especially that damn near vertical reclining capability. However to achieve balance while using such a far recline, the main pillar is near the back of the seat, making intense sessions where you might *lean forward* causes the chair to tip and/or fall forward. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So far I am loving this chair!! I’m 5’5, 270 pounds and this chair is comfortable and sturdy. I built it myself because it was that easy and it brings a lumbar massage pillow but there’s only one setting and it’s more of a loud vibration. I didn’t realize the handles could move up and down so that was a surprise. It looks really nice and the only flaw was the neck pillow it had a deep crease but not bad enough for me to care. When laying it down I do recommend to lock the rocking or else it feels like you are going to fall. I feel that for the price you can’t beat it!! ... show more

Bought the chair a about 9 months ago and notice it will lower by itself overtime. Not sure what's wrong with it.
