This is the second time ordering these awnings. Hurricane took out the first set. Learned a few tricks with the first set that would have helped in the instructions. I included some pictures to hopefully help with the frustration of putting these together. We ordered 2 sets of 40x120 and wanted to combine for 1 long run. Using to keep the rain off grills. Don’t put all together and try to mount. Put one arm support and awning together and then mount to wall. Also when putting together we use painters tape to prevent things slipping out of place. And don’t make the mistake of taping on the outside. Did that the first time and then couldn’t reach the tape to remove. Lesson learned! Definitely a 2 person job. Maybe 3rd person to referee. My husband and I are both 68 so you can do it. Just be safe and careful and patient with the job and each other. ... show more

Looks very cute over our guest entrance and protects it from rain very well so far. I can't say it seems very durable, but worth the money for sure. We screwed it directly into the wood siding and didn't have to use the strange metal anchors from the package. Easy peasy. Just a note that the side braces are plastic, not metal as I thought. The only aluminum parts are the thin edges at the front and back of the awning. ... show more

This was too big for my needs. I returned it and had to pay for my own return shipping. After I returned I never got a refund. I wrote them about it and they never got back to me. Also note it’s made from plastic and the top did not seem sturdy

Didn’t buy it for over a door. I have an in wall air conditioning unit and when the rain hits the outside it sounds like a marching band coming through. Bought this to put over the unit and so far it seems to be exactly what I was looking for

Perfect - we needed coverage over two outside doors and this did the trick. Easy to assemble, easy installation, the smaller one my husband was able to install on his own, the larger on did take two people. around 1 hour to install and assemble. Extra sturdy with lumber and 4 in wood screws. Need at least 2 people and a brad nailer

It would be nice if there was actual directions , instead of parts list pictures. I put it up by myself and did NOT use those bolts included, used my own I do like it and added a fabric panel and will be putting wood slats across canopy to Secure it better and add style
