    • Works well, but tricky to assemble
It works well, but getting it to stay together while you mount it is hard. You can NOT mount it in pieces, then add the next section. It took 3 of us to get it mounted over the door.

    • Good luck finding a 10mm drill bit
The assembly was relatively easy, but the installation was complicated by the need for a 10mm diameter hole to receive the supplied expansion bolts. Metric drill bits aren't available at Lowes or Home Depot. A 3/8" diameter bit (9.5mm) is too tight for the expansion bolts and a13/32 (10.3mm) turned out to be slightly too large, allowing the expansion bolt to slip within the hole. Fortunately I had only drilled the 13/32" top holes. I left the loose bolts in place. They are snug, but not very tight. I used 3/8" x 3" lag screws in the bottom holes and drilled another hole in the middle to add another lag screw. I must wait before I assess the unit's performance and durability. ... show more

    • Poor quality broke in just a few months
Brackets split in half leaving the screwed part still in the house. Brackets did not withstand wind from a normal thunderstorm. I do not recommend this thin quality product.

bought this to replace one damaged by storm. New one seems to be sturdier and changes make more sense.
