The size of this coat is either a "Portly" or "Irregular." I'm totally dissatisfied with the fit being TOO big & only being a 42 from the shoulders. I stand at 6'2" & 220 lbs & this coat is way too big.

I just moved back East after 12 1/2 years in Southern California. Most of my stuff is still in storage there and naturally the arrival of fall reminded me that I needed to enhance my cold-weather wardrobe from nothing to something. I work for the (state) government, so I'm on a budget and looking for bargains. This coat seemed suspiciously cheap for what the pictures purported it to be but I took a chance, and on October 25, 2020, I purchased it. I mention the date because it arrived today, January 5, 2021. If my math is right for a chance, that's 62 days from purchase to delivery. Now, don't get me wrong. They did say it would take something like a month or more, and I do recognize it was coming from China and there's a global pandemic, etc., etc. I was pretty patient. And pretty cold. But as November gave way to December and the date got pushed back, I started to lose that patience. Then, finally, I was told it would arrive by December 9 at the very latest. December 9 came and went: no coat, and what's more, they removed the "tracking" option from Amazon. When Christmas arrived I'd had enough and filed a complaint with the company. I got a badly-written message in the ESOL style asking me to be...patient...and Amazon said I couldn't ask for a refund "until it's overdue." Uhhh....isn't a month past the delivery date overdue, Jeff? Anyway...it finally showed up today, January 5, and will probably need dry cleaning to get some of the wrinkles out, but here it is at last. The coat itself? Right, I'm supposed to review that, too. It's a business topcoat of army green, with a green satin lining. There are external pockets but no breast or interior pocket(s), which I consider a drawback, and there is no loop for a hanger, either, which is flat-out annoying. It's not fancy but neither does it look cheap. I ordered it in large, and it is just large enough to fit over a suit jacket, but only barely, so if you're a big guy, by which I mean bigger than me (I'm 5'11", 190 lbs, 42 regular and rather broad in the shoulder), you might want to go XL if you plan to use it as a proper topcoat, i.e. wear it over a suit jacket. Otherwise, guys my size could probably get away with a medium IF they only wear a shirt beneath it. But the large size seems to work for both for yours truly. It's rather thin so about warmth I'm a little dubious, especially if you skip the suit jacket, but it would probably work really well with a heavy turtleneck sweater. So, there it is. I had to wait 62 days, but I finally got it and so far I'm pleased with what I got, especially given the price. I was about 2 days from demanding a refund, and I'm not really happy that they literally disabled the tracking function, but all's possibly well that ends well. ... show more

Looks good. Black. XXL fits me. I thought the sleeves might be too short but for the price it was worth taking a chance. I'm 6'-1", about 240lbs. The site shows very long delivery time but I got my coat in about three weeks. I'm happy with it. Trench coat? car coat? Three quarter length coat? This one is the length I like the best. You need to use a seam ripper tool/gadget to open the pockets. ... show more

Excellent quality. I am very please with the product. It even arrive earlier than describe; I’m 6 feet tall, and 217 lbs., the XL, I find, to fit just right.

At first blush this appears to be a quality garment. A very good coat for the price. It is not meant for wintry weather in deep cold and wind, so know that going in, but it would be perfect for an autumn day. The buttons are ok, but you might consider having a tailor put on better ones. The quality of the buttons don't really match the quality of the coat. All in all, a good purchase. I'm satisfied. Sidenote: it took forever for this coat to get to me. It was lost in transit after having to wait months for delivery. I contacted customer service and they were excellent. It still took another month nearly (3 days short) for it to finally arrive. There are other sellers offering this coat for about $5 to $10 more on Prime and you can get it in two days. I ordered mine in summer and it was timed to reach me by mid fall so I wasn't in a rush, but they overshot the mark. You will need to have it pressed. ... show more

This coat is very sharp! Not sure if we’ll be keeping it due to the warmth factor, but it is great looking! It’s warmth is like a regular pea coat/dress coat but my husband is wimpy when it comes to cold weather. It looks great on him though!

    • Great jacket at a great price
I paid $30 for the medium and it came out surprisingly well. I like the jacket looks like I paid $80. Might end up spending an additional $20 just to get it tailored around my mid section.
