  • Nice pen
Color: Blue and Chrome
The pen itself is very nice, a little overpriced, in my opinion but good quality. The problem lies with the refill. It is blotchy really not nice to write with, which is surprising coming form Parker. While I really liked the pen itself because of the refill I returned it. Unfortunately refills are mostly proprietary and not easy to find good substitutions. At least or me, it was not worth all the work. Parker should know how to produce excellent rollerball refills. Unfortunately that is not the case. I even ordered brand new refills and those were exactly the same. So I am sorry to say, this was not the pen I wanted to keep even if I love Parker in general. ... show more

  • A Pleasure to Hold and to Write With
Color: Chiselled Silver with Gold Trim
Beautiful design to look at and hold. Writing with it is a pleasure. Weather a personal note or creating a literary work of art, the experience of using this pen is a satisfaction in and of itself.

  • Classic Elegance,in a roller ball writing instrument,.....very Nice
Color: Matte Black and Chrome
This is a Matte Black pen with bright "Palladium" accents,(Note:Palladium does not tarnish)...The Pen has a substantive weight and feel that says this is a pen that will stand up to time, a pen of value and class. No one will mistake this as a cheap giveaway or marketing piece. You will avoid loaning this one out and look for it when misplaced. I am a bit of a pen aficionado, and own Waterman's and Mont Blanc's alike, this pen doesn't take second place to either. Though an additional plus when replacing refills, a pair of Mont Blanc rollerball refills will set you back $16+ for two and Parker Rollerballs $6.50 for two. I find no appreciable difference between the fine point rollerball writing instruments except cost. I am inclined to mention the box, as it is one of the nicest I have come across, a gray tight weave cloth with a magnetic latching lid, the interior is no less elegant displaying and cradling the pen as a fine instrument deserving of a suitable first class presentation. This pen and presentation box would be a great gift in recognition of a colleague, close friend, one's boss, or as an honorarium....it conveys you went the bit extra in considering this gift for them. I have shared extra pictures, hopefully you have found this helpful as you consider one for yourself or as a gift. ... show more

  • Solid, well-crafted and balanced pen
Color: Black Lacquer with Gold Trim
This pen exceeds my expectations. Not only is it solid, well-crafted, and balanced, but it's great looking. I hand-write a great deal of my notes to files and memos to staff, as well my personal correspondence and this pen makes it easy - no fatigue. The ink from the Parker refills is immediate to the paper and flows as evenly as any pen I have ever owned. I do suggest, however, that if you like a medium point, stick to the "fine" version of the refills. The "medium" is overly bold for what I would consider a medium point cartridge. Excellent pen! ... show more

  • Possibly used product arrived past delivery date with semi dried out ink & no
Color: Matte Black and Chrome
The pen itself seems OK and I'm guessing it is a Parker Sonnet. I'm thinking someone else previously purchased the pen and sent it back. There are two spaces in the bottom of the box. The space where I'm guessing the welcome card, premium booklet and guarantee were originally packed was empty. The ink refill in the other space wasn't rapped and is semi dried out and worthless. I purchased two refills and was surprised to find that, "For sale only in India / Nepal" is printed on the packet. I don't imagine it makes any difference but, I live in California. With no way of registering the pen with Parker for the two year guarantee and feeling that I might not be the original purchaser...... I'm thinking I should send it back. ... show more

  • 3 out of 5 stars because of the grip
Color: Black Lacquer with Palladium Trim
Update - 06/11/2017. The new Parker refill ruins this pen for me. The ink skips too much. I've actually stopped using the pen as my everyday pen and gone back to the Waterman and Mont Blanc. The shipping and delivery of this was great. I have no complaints with either. This is my first Parker, Mont Blanc and Waterman are usually my preference and I've been quite happy with those. I really just wanted to try this to see if I'd like the grip and the weight of the pen and comparatively to MB, it's a whole lot cheaper. One thing I didn't expect with this is that it's skinny and 'straight'. I like a bigger pen because if/when I'm writing it's usually not for a short sentence or a scribble or two so I need something that I can hold on to. The grip doesn't feel that much different that the barrel of the pen. It's very smooth and if my hands are not perfectly dry and without lotion then I found that my fingers slip and makes my penmanship sloppy. I received the pen on 04/26 and it does come with ink, fine point, and for the first few days the ink flowed smoothly. The ink has since started skipping which I'm not pleased about but I've ordered a refill in blue ink, medium point as a replacement. For the price of this pen, I expected something with a little bit more size and weight. The good thing is - it's a pretty pen, just not one I would recommend for that price. ... show more
