These are great Gel ink pens that do not smear! They write very smoothly and are easy to hold. I really enoy wrting with these pens and will be placing a second order when these run dry! The colors are very bold and I have quite a selection to choose from. I highly reccomend the gel pens!

The ink skips and the pens do not write smoothly on paper. It was very disappointing, because the colors are unique. They write better on more dense (cardboard) martial, but some shades still skip. I would not recommend if you want to write on paper.

I usually do like this brand (paper mate) and the ink joy lines overall, but these subcategories of "BRIGHT" do not write well at all compared to regular ink joy pens. ① scratchy feels of each pen's tip & it being pressed down on paper ② as you see on pic, all inks do not flow continuously and skip too much ③ its colors are good enough if only they'd write well... ... show more

I needed something to write on black paper tags for my business and gave these a try. While they do write on dark paper, you have to write VERY slowly and have the pen tipped just right for it not to skip. It’s difficult to write at a normal speed and get much ink out.
