Top Amazon Reviews

  • Great product!
I started writing this review in my head from the moment I opened the box. The box was so small that I was concerned the rig would be rickety. It turns out that it was just efficiently designed and packaged. I am very impressed with the quality of the materials and the ease of assembly. Nothing was warped and everything went together perfectly. There was one sharp burr on one of the parts and then quite a lot of small filings from the machining process in other parts that dumped out and got all over the floor. Not a big deal but a little annoying. I would have given bonus points if all of the bolts were the same size but there are a couple different ones (same wrenches though). Pro tips: There are 30 bolts on this thing. Go ahead and purchase a socket wrench and a regular wrench with this amazon order if you don’t have them already. Either an 11/16” standard or 17 metric will work. It is easy to over tighten the link between top and bottom so be careful. I did not realize from the part description that one of the pylons in the back functions as a vertical barbell stand. Great feature. I am quite pleased with the final result. I only use it as a pull-up bar at the moment but probably will add weights in the future. I added some silicone tape for grip which is great. Gone from 1 pull-up to 7 :) ... show more

  • WEIGHTS ONLY ON LEFT SIDE. Barbell holder on Right side
One side holds weights, the other a barbell. There is no way to fit weights onto the other side. The locks are very durable. Good strength to it. Wish it was a little wider to have more room for a bench's feet. Have to position myself perfectly to to hanging rows with gymnastic rings or I pull the thing over. (I'm 175lb) Holds pretty strong for my strenuous muscle-up attempts :). 86" off the ground NOT 87". If that makes any difference to anyone. The pullup bar is 2 and 3/4" less than the max height. Holes go from 18- 43" off the floor then there is a gap with NO HOLES then it continues from 52-74" off the ground. ... show more

  • Does what it's supposed to do
I like that there are 2 sets of racks. The bottom ones are useful just in case you can't get that last rep up. It feels sturdy for what I use it for. But I must admit, I don't pile on that heavy of weights It's rather tall for my ceiling. So if I did a chin up, I might bonk my head on the ceiling Overall, it's just what I wanted Boyfriend wants to add that: he had to drill out two of the holes at the base to get it to align right so he can put the thing together. So hopefully you or someone you know has the tools for that ... show more

  • Good value and solid for price point
Good value. A little wobbly but that is expected for the price point. Not for serious weightlifting but good if you are jusr doing reps you know you can complete and handle effectively. *not* for somebody who is squatting to failure regularly and needs to be able to push the barbell against the squat rack and drop the barbell down on the last set. You will risk injury doing this. ... show more

  • Amazed at the value!
Two years ago next week, I bought “F2C Adjustable Height Power Squat Rack Cage Stand “and sold it within 4 months because it simply wasn’t sturdy enough. It only had a slick, painted 1" pull up bar, it was never a comfortable or secure grip, plus when I used it for inversion I almost tipped over few times while positioning and I just didn’t trust it! Purchased this “Papababe Power Cage” and I cannot believe the quality and value of this squat rack and pull up station. It arrived today, well packaged, all the parts intact and it went together and up without issue, in about an hr! First thing I noted is the knurled 1 3/8th”bar width which (IMHO) is the perfect sized for the average hand size to grip (I’d actually suggest they offer a 1.5” & 2” option for those with large hands.) but that extra 3/8th “made a huge difference in the comfort of the grip. Next thing I notice is the height is a full 85” (3” taller than most of the higher priced competitors) and the base is 2.5” longer. That’s better than anyone in the $150 to $200 price range. Next thing I noted were the optional floor anchor tabs (which my F2C didn’t even offer) and to top it off a nicely padded step ups /extended j hook, a bonus pair of j hooks, a vertical bar holder and a weight stack holder. This thing is rock solid, incredibly stable and super comfy …for $99? Is it club quality?…No Is it worth twice what I paid for it?…Absolutely! Very happy with this purchase! ... show more

  • Life changing, literally.
Style: [PAB 24] Cable Crossover Machine
I got this cable crossover set up after wanting to have more ability in my garage gym. The product is second to none regarding value and usability. I can finally do everything short of leg press thanks to this machine! My only gripe is the instructions, or lack there of, and the shipping. The shipping because it comes in three boxes unbeknownst to me until a third box came in two days later; fortunately I had not begun to set it up at the time. It came with instructions to set up the power rack portion but not the cable crossover assemblies. While extremely frustrating, is not difficult to figure out. Just don't put on the pull up bar or the bottom outside bolts to the front part of the frame until you are ready to attach the crossover portion and you'll save yourself some time backtracking. The seller responds in a timely manner and was very helpful. Because of the nature of machine, you're not limited to face value. I was able to store my weight racks in the corner voids and hung cable attachmentsbover one of the top bars. I truly wish I knew about this years ago. As for the reviews crying about the J-Hooks and the holes not being an inch, disregard the tears. It's a home gym not an Olympic training facility, how many J-Hooks could you possibly need? If you're on the fence, don't be. Pull the trigger and save yourself a few grand by investing in this cable crossover, you won't regret it. ... show more
