Touch screen area is a looser weave

These are a great value for what you get. the only thing I didn't particularly like was that the touch screen areas are not a fabric that conducts the capacitance. They use a looser weave so your skin has a limited exposure on those fingertips instead. it works really well, but those three fingertips
are especially thin. i wear gloves because a few of my fingertips are overly sensitive to touch and cold and thin gloves work very well for me to counteract that. Coincidentally, these are the same fingertips that are the loose weave, though, so these don't help me much for my particular needs.

I don't see how the touchscreen claim can be valid.

I bought these because I always lose one glove from these sets of stretchy gloves. With multiples of each color I can just pull out a replacement. The ostensible texting feature is of no importance to me because I can’t even text efficiently with bare fingers, never mind with gloves. I don’t see how
these would help anyone send text messages in the cold, unless maybe she has a huge keyboard on the screen, therefore I cannot recommended them for that purpose alone. I can say they are a good fit on both hands, easy to wash, and were a good value. They are also warm enough for me, but usually I wear them only until the car warms up on the way to my various appointments, where I remove them to apply hand sanitizer. I gave some to my daughters, and probably won’t buy gloves again for the rest of my life, unless I lose them of course. Recommended as gloves, but don’t count on them for touchscreen use in cold conditions.

I bought packs of these for my homeless students and student aids at my middle school, along with other items to fill stocking. These were by far the most popular gifts. One girl kept thanking me because she was just wishing she had some that morning as she was riding her bike to school. They are cut
e and worked well. I don't know how well they will hold up to washing.

OK so these worked as expected. That is to say, poorly. It's 12 gloves for a very inexpensive price, I knew I wasn't going to be getting anything spectacular. They were used as party favors for teenagers, and they did a great job keeping hands warm in (not terribly) cold ish wx, and the stretch was g
reat. Very good co-ed colors. But the touchscreen element was pretty much a fail. Every 10th touch or so you get a success, but better to just take a finger out. They're very squared off at the fingertips and don't wear that well (see pix of a couple months of low to moderate use), but again, I'm getting pretty much what I expected. Not everything has to be the best quality, sometimes you can go for eh, and it's enough. So using them as party favors? Cool. Want excellent wear and performance? Nah.
