Easy to use, good quality for the money. 12 year old daughter loved it. It was fun to make and wait for the little critter. I wasn't sure what to expect. Would be good for younger or older kids. Smells wonderful!!!

It's cute... my 3 year old and 8 year old girls like them. My 3 year old didn't understand the concept. She thought she was literally making stuffed animal pancakes she was upset when she took the puppy out, re-flipped it and discovered there was nothing there. She wanted to make 5 pancake puppies. So unfortunately we didn’t record this as my daughter was so excited to just open this gift up and do it herself. But the smell is amazing and strong it really smells like a nice stack of blueberry pancakes. My daughter has one from last Christmas and it still has the smell to it. The plushie is very cute and the flip mechanic on the frying pan is fun, but the one we got didn't make noise. Unfortunately, we opened it to use it so can't really send it back. Not going to pay extra to buy batteries for a toy that is supposed to have them included, oh well!

It's a little tricky to get the pancake out. The pan doesn't do much of anything. I didn't hear a sizzle but my daughter loves this toy. It was one of her favorite Christmas gifts and she plays with it often. The concept is very cute.
