I used it to mount a PTZ optics box camera (PT12X-ZCAM) to the back wall (indoors) at my church. I previously tried a different and slightly cheaper bracket that could rotate and tilt forward/backward but it had no side-to-side adjustment so I couldn't get the camera to be level. This Panavise bracket is much better because it uses an adjustable ball mechanism and allows you to precisely position the camera exactly where you want it. I used all the sections but I like that it can be shortened. Our camera weighs 1.4 lbs. and this bracket seems very sturdy. Its the color I needed and made in the U.S.A. too! ... show more

Excellent quality mount! Powder coated metal construction, including the wingnut and jam nut. Optional hex screw, to replace wingnut, it you want to better lock down the positioning of your device. Only plastic here is the vinyl cap that covers the mount's base plate. This is for mounting ONE device. Mount the 2" high ball head on the base, or you can also add one, or two, of the 2" extension poles. Does NOT come with the four base plate mounting screws. EDIT: These have to be the best mounts out there , for use with security cameras. Just bought 3 more of them. They're better than the camera's own brand and cheaper, too! ... show more

Great assortment of parts to fit any need. I used this for the Netgear Arlo system. Some things to note about the mounts: - The covers are made out of a thick vinyl-like material and are flexible. - There is an allen screw that you can use to replace the wing nut. I feel like this provides better security and a tighter clamp on the ball joint. - This is specific to the Arlo system. You can't replace the batteries in the cameras without removing the camera from the mount. ... show more

I have 4 NHT speakers that these mounts mate with perfectly. Although they are cream and not white like my grids and ceiling tiles, the difference isn't very noticeable. The ability to choose the length of the mount was very helpful and they were easy to assemble and hang from the grid.

I had previously purchased a high-end 2MP outdoor camera from Vivotek which came with a mounting bracket. The cylinder wouldn't tighten at the base, making the camera swing down with the weight. I purchased this unit hoping that it wasn't of the same build quality. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised. This product is of very high quality and isn't moving around anywhere, even with lots of wind twisting on the camera. I was glad I bought this particular kit because I ended up being able to tweak my setup more than I had intended based upon the flexibility provided with the different options. This was used first to mount a Honeywell security camera to a window frame. The camera didn't work out in this location and had to be replaced with another camera that didn't require a mount. We were able to use a different configuration of the kit to mount the Honeywell camera to a dropped ceiling. My advise: if you use the mounting kit, hold onto the parts that you don't use for possible future use. ... show more
