After reading reviews, we purchased the "heavy duty pan organizer extra large". We placed the organizer under our stove top cabinet and it immediately made a difference in simplifying the storage space and also the ability to easily pull out a pan as needed. A couple of comments on the item. There is no assembly - just unwrapping the item which is very easy. The term extra large is incorrect. The picture of the item shows a cast iron dutch oven fitting on the bottom shelf. It must have been very small. Our 6 quart dutch oven was way too big to fit. So I was disappointed in that. So instead I placed a cast iron skillet and a couple of fajita pans as well. Placing the cast iron pans on the bottom shelf worked well because they are heavy and stabilize the rest of the shelves above. Then I placed other fry pans on the shelves above and even a round cast iron skillet that I use all of the time on the top. The top shelves are quite small in surface area especially. Overall, I was pleased but I wish the 1st shelf was taller for our dutch oven which is a very common size. ... show more

Now I can get my cast iron skillet without having to unstack my nested skillets which are sooo heavy. Strong enough to hold 6 skillets without turning over or you can anchor the shelf for extra strength..

I already had 5 or 6, red colored, coated cast-iron. It's great for saving space. I also bought two more, in black that came as a pair. One for my uncoated cast-iron and one, turn it on its side, for my sheet metal made baking & roasting pans and platers.

I am 5’2” tall and have very limited kitchen storage space. Pots and pans are stored on deep narrow shelves that can just accommodate my 12” skillet with about 2” to spare. This 5-tier rack has eliminated my struggle with nested skillets. I no longer swear every time I reach for one. I no longer put off using them. Yay! I use a lot of different pans. I do not have that much storage capacity. At least easy access capacity. So now I can just put my pans in their spot and they are out of my way and waiting for me the next time I need them.

    • Sturdy, great size, lots of spots for pans
Wanted to organize my cabinets and got this so my pans weren’t stacked and scratching each other up. This has been a great solution! It fits in our cabinet really well and it’s quite sturdy not tipping over when all the pans or some of the pans are on it.

I use to store my cast iron pans in the oven just to get them out of the way. Had to put a note on the oven start button "Pans in oven" so that we could take them out before turning on the oven. This fits perfectly in a corner and out of my way. I have two large cast iron skillets and two smaller ones (with room for one more) and it is holding up nicely.
