Just received this today and assembled it myself. It's a very pretty set, I love the color. When assembling as others have stated, put in all the screws only very loosely finger tight as it makes it easier to align all of them. I'm very pleased with this patio set: it's very sturdy, elegant, and assembly was easy. It was well-packaged and included all the necessary hardware (one type of screw, washers, Allen wrench). I'm not handy and the instructions were easy to follow. It only took me a little over an hour to put it together. I also love the sky blue/Robin blue color for the cushions. Very reasonably-priced. These chairs arrived in two boxes, each a bit over 30 lbs. Shipping was very fast! Amazon originally projected a two-week delivery timeframe but they arrived in 3 days. The boxes were in good condition and were easy to unpack. All pieces were included and in perfect condition - there were even extra screws! I was unable to assemble the chairs without help from my neighbor who used a ratchet driver and Allen head bit. The included Allen wrenches were too small to handle the task of assembly and made it painful for my hands. He was able to complete what I had started in about 20 minutes. Once assembled, the chairs look great, the ottomans fit perfectly, and they are comfortable to sit in. The chairside table is nice and big. There is no support under the top so I will probably set a large serving tray or a piece of tempered glass on it so it does not sag. As others have noted, the cushion covers are slick polyester in a creamy off-white color. The seat bottom foam is reasonably firm. The back cushion is stuffed softly with batting and the ottoman cushion is thinner and less dense than the seat cushion. I have noticed that there is static electricity build-up. When I rise from the chair while holding the arms, I can feel small electric shocks in my hands. I look forward to enjoying more time on my patio now that I have comfy chairs with ottomans to stretch out on. ... show more

We started off shaky because AMAZON sent one of the boxes that had been open with half of the pieces removed--shame on them. HOWEVER, even over a holiday weekend I was able to contact Pamapic customer service through the email address on the booklet and THEY sent me a replacement box -- I did not relish trying to get those pieces back in the box and then to the ups store to do a return through amazon. I'm glad we weren't having an event that needed the furniture but that is Amazon's fault, not the company. As soon as they had stock of the box that needed replaced, we received it THE NEXT DAY. We had it together with no trouble (I was just more of a second set of hands) and it was out on the patio! They look nice with our brick, are sturdy and I love how the ottomans slide underneath when not being used to save valuable space. I wanted to use them a bit before a review. ... show more

I wanted to update my review…. After leaving my review, the company reached out to me to see if they could make things right. They offered a replacement set. I accepted and paid he new set was set out. I received it very quickly. Assembly was much easier on this set (used my husband’s screwdriver with Allen wrench attachment). The cushions are thicker and A lot more comfortable. The set is beautiful, sturdy and well made. I love that the company was willing to stand behind their product. I love the look of the set. Assembly was a bit sketchy. Some of the holes were not aligned properly. Luckily my hubby is quite handy and was able to make it work. The cushions are not very substantial. So sitting for any period of time can be uncomfortable. The material seems very cheap. It has a bit of a shininess to it and they are very slippery. Personally, I don’t think they are worth the price. ... show more

Before anything else I say, this is the most important: DO NOT FULLY TIGHTEN BOLTS ON EACH CHAIR BEFORE YOU HAVE THEM ALL IN AND ONLY GIVEN A COUPLE TURNS. That is VERY important. You will need the wiggle room to fully match up all the holes properly. I am fully convinced that those complaining about holes not matching up did not leave all the bolts loose enough at first. Now with that being said, I absolutely love this set. Yes it's cheap. You're going to get what you paid for. I had the choice of spending $800 on a set that looked very similar at a local store. Although I know it was built a little better, I wasn't going to spend that much. This set is an excellent value for the slightly less in quality, but it still seems like I should get a few years use out of it. The supports for the seat are what I was most disappointed in, being they are only a few twisted ropes of the same stuff the plastic wicker seems to be made of, with the woven plastic wicker on top. It seems strong enough, says will hold 350 pounds, so we'll see. It arrived in 2 boxes, at the same time. My son put them together with an occasional extra hand by me, but could easily be assembled by one person. It took about half an hour for all 3 items. The cushions do seem a little "slippery" but I think a couple squares of velcro underneath will take care of that. I also plan to buy covers for the chairs to protect from the sun and weather. It's very comfortable, perfect size for my patio. We've had it less than a day, assembling it as soon as it arrived late this afternoon. If there's a change in my opinion due to problems, I'll definitely update. ... show more

The plastic wrapping is cheesy and cheap. Coming unraveled in some areas. Color is awful brown stripy looking plastic. Cushion is cheap. Feels like something you would wrap a mattress in to protect from accidents or spill. What heck you cant get anything of decent quality for $315!!! On the positive side the screw holes lined up well and super easy to put together. But over all the chairs and table are garbage I wouldnt recommend the set at all and when we decide to move we will leave them with the house! ... show more
