It’s a little hard to get the meta quest/elite head strap with battery to fit into the case but I think that as I use it, it will probably loosen up and fit very well, providing a very secure fit. The case is nice and well worth the money.

Bought for my 11 year old nephew so his VR is protected & stored when not in use! Finally a case that fits the VR with the extra head set he purchased & fits the hand grip accessories he purchased separately!! Both extra accessories wouldn't fit in the original case but fit perfectly because this case has a foam base inside & you can push the controls with grips to fit as well as the headset! It is a good sturdy case but only for the headset and controllers. If you have modified the headset and controllers (added a battery backup to the headset or added grips or weights to the controllers) it doesn’t appear to have the flexability to store.
