These are worth the money you pay, but both bent downward immediately after installation with nothing on them. They serve our purpose, but I would put too much weight on them.

They went on very easy. Work pretty good. Just watch the weight. Should of bought stronger ones, but for the money it works.

    • Curt Basket will not fit
As per other reviews, 2015 Jeep Patriot, the brackets need to be modified for a tight worry free fit. I used a vise and a rubber mallet after trying to use vise grips and pliers to bend tab. Vise and rubber mallet is the way to go. After securing proper fitment, I re-painted modified brackets to prevent rust. Note: Brackets are not aluminum like the rails. If you scratch the finish, they will rust. Most Important, Curt Roof Basket does not fit these rails due to the Knobs used to secure rails. ... show more

This is a perfect fit for my 2010 Jeep Patriot, the only downfall is those tightening knobs if you want to add a rack carrier they won’t let it sit right you’ll have to go to Home Depot and get the same type of screw (in the pictures so you won’t have to make a million trips) as those tightening knobs and some washers and you’ll be good, I had purchased a Arksen 64” Cargo Rack and since I did the mod it fits perfect you’ll just need to use a impact to tighten the cross bars down. ... show more

Super easy to install, even without directions. They do slide with a good pull though. But again, even factory rails do that by design. If you plan to use the roof rack for valuable cargo, maybe look elsewhere. If you’re going for casual use and the look, these will work. Update: The pipes are hollow, which creates a whistle noise when you drive at highway speeds. I don’t mind it because I already have mud tires on my Jeep, which creates noise as it is. But if you are used to a quiet ride, these will upset you. ... show more

Had these shipped to my work since big boxes have been known to disappear off my porch. Once I got home, they were firmly installed on my 2016 Jeep Patriot within 10 minutes, no tools required. I drove around with them on for a couple days before I used them to transport a kayak. Checked it out, there was nothing out of place, did not need to tighten anything.
