After 18 months of 3x/week play, I decided to upgrade my Tempest Wave 2 to a Wave Pro. They’re similar in size, except the Wave Pro is slightly thicker, and this is supposed to make Wave Pro more forgiving. I ordered a larger grip, and that seems to make it easier to maintain a lighter grip for soft shots and slowing the pace of incoming slams. Supposedly also good for avoiding “tennis” elbow, though pickleball players shouldn’t be taking big swings. So far so good! Highly recommend! (from a 3.0-3.5 skill player) ... show more
