  • Type A Filter Cartridge Intex filter cartridges are made from Dacron material. They are easy to clean and to replace when necessary, usually after about two weeks. Look for the large A on the package to make sure you are getting the right size for your filter.
  • For smaller pumps: 530 gallon per hour - 1,500 gallon per hour
  • Fits pumps with both Type A and Type C filters
  • For filter pump item numbers: 58603, 58604, 56637, 56638, 56635, 56636
  • Replace filter cartridge with a new one every two weeks for best results

    • Exactly what I needed
This was a good value for the overall cost. There are a number of other products and suppliers out there that are taking advantage of the limited supply available at this time - this was an excellent price for a pack of 6 filters. There are other more "rigid" filters available, the one I replaced with this one was very rigid (sturdy) with a slightly larger inside diameter at the ends (Decko brand). I think it was designed for a higher volume spa filter. If the filter pump was a higher capacity, this filter MIGHT not stand up to the pressure as well as the other brand, but it works great for my purposes. As with air filters, the finer the filtration, the lower the flow through the filter. These filters work great at filtering out the large particles in the pool as well as a lot of the smaller particulates. You can see the "dirt" accumulated in the filter after just one day. Our family is in the pool every day and it gets a lot of use right now. I clean the filter (rinse it with a jet stream from the garden hose) at the end of every day and replace the filters with a new one about every 3 or 4 weeks so far. If you let the filter go without cleaning, you may only get a week or two at best. It cleans very easily and only takes a few minutes. As I said, the inside diameter is a little smaller than other filters, but it's a soft rubber so it makes a tight seal at the top and bottom of the pump assembly. That's not a critical concern of mine, but if you're looking for a tight fitting filter - this is the one for you. Overall I give it 5 stars for the price, and quality of the product. Delivery was actually a few days earlier than was originally estimated so that was a bonus. I'd buy this product again from this supplier in the future. ... show more
