I am notorious for losing or misplacing my remote and it was only a matter of time before I bought a new one. So I ordered, two TCL Roku remotes and wasn’t expecting much. They’re remotes after all. That isn’t the case, in fact, these remotes work so much better than the one that came with the television. I have been surprisingly impressed at the performance and durability of these remotes. They connect so easily to my TV and there’s no pressing down hard on a button or repeatedly to get it to work. You might be questioning the durability comment but I often tangle my remotes in my blankets without knowing and when I move sometimes they go flying. They never break and don’t even glitch. It took seconds to get the remote synched with my television. This might sound strange but the remote is designed really well, too. It fits comfortably in your hand, and the buttons are placed well and are sensitive, making navigation on your television easy to do. The quality and the way it functions is where this product truly shines. This remote includes new buttons that make things so much easier, such as buttons for Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and Disney+. The responsive time is impressive. There is no lagging between this remote and my TV screen. Everything happens almost instantly. Admittedly I haven’t tested out the voice control because I prefer not to use that option. However, these remotes have exceeded my expectations. I thought I was just getting a replacement but I got a simple remote that works better with my television. These remotes have an easy setup and the design makes it user friendly. Why can’t you buy just one? Oh well. Great value. The quality is identical to our original Roku remote (the size, shape, button placement). It is compatible to our Roku TV. The buttons work great and it is easy to use.

These work as described. Just put batteries in the remotes and they’ll work. They DO NOT work for the sticks or the other roku devices. These are ONLY FOR ROKU TV’S.

These remotes work great with our ONN Roku tv’s. I didn’t have to program them or anything, they just automatically worked with our tv’s. Make sure to read the full description to make sure you have a compatible device. They don’t work with the boxes, as I already knew, but my mom tried anyway, and no go. Smart TV only.     • They Serve the Purpose
They're good for what they are. They work well with no issues with functionality... until you drop one a couple of times. The volume buttons tend to stick / stop working after that. Also, when you're holding one of these in your hand, there's a noticeable difference in build quality, such as texture and weight, as compared to the factory remote. That being said, I don't know if there is an alternative available of higher quality. You might say these are almost as good as the original factory remotes, which in my opinion, weren't wonderful either. As long as you don't abuse them too much, these will work fine. I needed a remote during a recent remodeling. These came fast and worked as soon as I put in batteries. No programming and work as well as original. No complaints. Acceptable price. I have 2 Roku TVs so I now have a back up for each.
