Just make sure what you're getting is compatible with your TV. I like the form factor and the layout just makes sense.     • PERFECT REPLACEMENT FOR 2017 LG OLED MAGIC REMOTE!

The Magic Remote recently died for my 2017 LG OLED65E7P. LG no longer makes a compatible replacement and a scouring of the web turned up nothing that indicated compatibility with my particular model set. Even ebay and craigslist, where you can usually find someone selling a used version of an older remote like this, had nothing. So with nowhere else to turn, I figured I'd give this remote a try because it seemed to have wide compatibility, although my model of LG OLED set isn't listed as being supported. Well, I'm happy to say it worked perfectly. I installed the batteries, pushed the power button as I pointed it at my set and it instantly turned on. A moment or two later, there was an onscreen message saying that the set was registering a new Magic Remote. And then the various buttons functioned exactly as they did on the original LG remote that came with the set. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you're looking to replace an LG remote that's lost or broken. Love that these remotes are so easy to use- all you need are a couple of AAA batteries and you’re ready to go. You don’t even need to “pair” the remote to your Samsung smart TV. My only disappointment is that the remotes use AAA batteries instead of AA size. I always have AA batteries on hand, so now I’ll need to keep a few AAA batteries available. I also like the type of buttons on the remote. They are easy to use, they are silent (no clicking sound) and they’re clearly marked. I also like the dedicated buttons for Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime Video. Excellent value- TWO remotes for less than 10 bucks! ... show more

There work perfectly. I wasn't sure how well they would work but they're a perfect replacement. The only gripe I have is the way Roku makes their remotes in the first place, the app buttons at the bottom are really easy to accidentally bump and knock you right out of what you're watching.
