I use 1:1 and have had some nasty tires come back to life quite easily with this. Foams up on the brush very nice so you can see where you’ve been and we’re you need to go. Cleans my wheels and tires perfectly without extra worry or work. It also cleans the engine bay pretty well too. Not sure about super dirty engines but great for maintenance.

I’ve got black wheels so they show break dust almost immediately. I bought Brake Buster because it came pretty highly recommended- up until this point, I’ve been using CarPro MultiX to clean the wheels. It does an okay job, but I was looking for something with a little more punch. I diluted Brake Buster 1:1 with water and sprayed it on and let it sit for 30-45 seconds. Then I gently agitated it with a brush. I noticed immediately that this stuff foams up like crazy, and the brake dust began to run off the wheel, turning the foam brown. I rinsed the wheels and was very happy with the result. I’m going to play around with the dilution, I bet even 1:5 would work well. The stuff is super economical, and works great. I noticed other reviews mentioning staining of wheels, I didn’t experience that at all- though, don’t let it dry on the wheels or use it in direct sunlight. ... show more

I had seen this on one of my favorite youtube channels as top rated for tire cleaning. It exceeds my expectations! Old dressing and browning is gone in one application (with light scrubbing from Tuff Shine tire brush). My wheels don't get very dirty (EV uses regenerative braking), so I can spray and rinse with minor agitation. Being dilutable makes it a terrific value. Will buy gallon next time! ... show more
