I live in a condo. A few weeks ago, one of my neighbors had their toilet break, which ultimately was responsible for flooding out 2 joining units, mine being one of them. After 2~weeks, the maintenance people came and assessed my unit and gave it the “all clear sign” after using their devices that detect moisture. Because I’m super sensitive to smells/odors, I still was smelling this damp wood/moldy smell, that just wouldn’t go away. I purchased quite a few DampRids, with the hope that, that would take care of the problem. “Well, it didn’t” I happened to be talking to a friend on the phone and mentioned to her about the constant moldy smell, I was experiencing after the flood. She asked if I had an Ozone Generator? I told her no, and that I didn’t even know what an Ozone Generator was. After explaining to me what it is and does, together we went on Amazon and started looking for vendors who sold them. That’s when we came across this Ozone Generator. It was powerful, covered a large area, was simple to use, and was fairly price. After reading the instructions, I placed the unit in the closet that had the smell, set the timer to run for an hour, grabbed my dog and went to the park. Let me tell you, this Ozone Generator did the trick! Having used this unit only once, I no longer have that moldy smell. I wanted to wait at least a month before giving my honest opinion. It’s now been a month since I used it, and there’s still no smell. So, I say if you’re having any type of odor issues, and looking for an honest company to deal with, I strongly recommend them! I ordered this machine because my Mum forgot a bag of groceries that included fresh meat in the back seat in the middle of Texas summer. It was several days before she discovered the forgotten bag and the car smelled like death. We removed a section the carped, cleaned the area well and ran the machine frequently for about a month.
