Description

A new spin on our classic design Before the introduction of the OXO Good Grips Salad Spinner in 1998, crank or pull-tab salad spinners were considered high- end products. Some people even used the spin cycle of their washing machine to dry lettuce. Our easy-to-use Spinner transformed the tool into an everyday kitchen essential. Nearly 20 years later, we revisited the Spinner to make some updates while keeping the top features and original inspiration: a children’s top. With a modern design that complements contemporary kitchens and an improved brake that stops on a dime every time, we think you’ll love our new spin on the classic design. Dry salad greens with a simple press of the soft, non-slip knob. The non-slip base keeps the bowl steady on the countertop, and the updated built-in brake button stops the Salad Spinner for unloading. The basket doubles as a colander, and the lid comes apart for easy cleaning.

  • Very well made salad spinner!
Style Name: Large Salad Spinner
Thought this to wash our salad lettuce and it really makes a difference! This works very well and it's based on Archimedes screw. It's easy to load the basket and assemble it and use it. You can definitely see that the lettuce is rinse clean and it makes the salad dressing stick to the salad better! It's a Wonderful size for making multiple salads. It's stay sealed and is very well made. It's also versatile where you could wash other things such as broccoli or other vegetables and not just lettuce. Highly recommended product! ... show more

  • Works well
Style Name: Large Salad Spinner
Easy to use. Spin action is sufficient to dry the leaf lettuce. Large enough to hold a lot and would be great for serving a salad. I like that you can remove the basket to pour out the water. Heavy duty plastic.

Style Name: Large Salad Spinner
This salad spinner is super easy to use, lightweight, and spins like a dream. Honestly, it's kind of therapeutic. There’s something satisfying about watching the greens go round and round! A great kitchen addition for anyone who loves fresh, crisp salads.

  • If you want the very best Salads/fruits.....
Style Name: Large Salad Spinner
The OXO Good Grips Large Salad Spinner has become an indispensable tool in my kitchen. From the moment I started using it, I was impressed by its thoughtful design and efficient performance. The large capacity is perfect for preparing salads for my family or even larger gatherings, saving me time and effort. The spinner mechanism is smooth and powerful, drying leafy greens and vegetables quickly and thoroughly. The non-slip base and handle provide a secure grip, even when the spinner is full, which is a big plus for safety and ease of use. I also love how easy it is to assemble and disassemble for cleaning; everything is dishwasher safe, making cleanup a breeze. What sets this salad spinner apart is its durability. I've used mine regularly for months, and it still works like new without any signs of wear. The clear bowl doubles as a serving dish, which is a convenient feature for serving salads directly at the table. In terms of design and functionality, the OXO Good Grips Large Salad Spinner is top-notch. It's reliable, efficient, and has truly simplified my salad preparation routine. If you're looking for a high-quality salad spinner that delivers on performance and durability, this one is definitely worth investing in. ... show more

  • Sturdy and quality
Style Name: Green Salad Spinner
Works well - it could dry a little better, but does a good enough job.

  • The product you didn’t know you needed until you tried it
Style Name: Large Salad Spinner
It may seem a little strange to spin your lettuce after washing it and cutting it up for your salad. However, nothing is quite so bland as a soggy salad. The spinner serves one purpose and does it very well—it uses physics to fling the water collected on the lettuce from washing into the sides and down into the collecting bowl, leaving your leaves crisp and clean. The spinner is sturdy and the plunger works very well. The tab/button for slowing the spin also functions well. The bowl does not leak and the basket and lid are easy to clean. I would not recommend using as a way to coat your salad leaves with oil or dressing, because the lid does has two parts which might be hard to clean between if you use oil or anything other than water. ... show more

  • The best salad spinner I've ever used!
Style Name: Large Salad Spinner
Besides the fact that this salad spinner works great, it's easy to clean. I had surgery on my wrist and this spinner was so much easier to use than the "crank" kind. Love this product!!

  • Happy with purchase.
Style Name: Glass Salad Spinner
Decided to stop buying prepackaged salad mixes and now buy heads of Romain and other lettuces using this to spin dry. Good, solid glass bowl. It spins quickly and removes a lot of water. I spin for probably a minute. I still take lettuce out and dry on a clean towel. I dry bowl and store lettuce in it in the fridge as well. I wash everything except the spin top in the dishwasher (glass bowl bottom), plastic insert on top rack. The spin top I hand wash with warm water and detergent in sink and let it air dry on counter. Just felt like dishwasher might get water into the component and cause issues or molding in the future. This process works well for me. ... show more
