  • OXO Zester
Style: Grips
I recently misplaced my OXO zester so purchased another brand that was all I could find available at the time. It was worthless so I ordered another OXO zester and am now once again completely satisfied.

  • This is a Game Changer For Zesting!
Style: Grips
For years I've used a typical long, stainless steel microplane grater like this one: https://amzn.to/3StmDf6. It's hard to hold because the edges dig into my hand & I've never felt I was getting all the zest off while avoiding the pith. I have other Oxo products that I like a lot, so I ordered this zester. And Shazam! I got 2 Tbsp. of zest off the lemon I used yesterday AND it comes off in neat little threads (like saffron) that are much easier to gather up & put into whatever I'm making that the tiny dots pf zest I used to end up with. It was so thorough that my lemon was nearly as white as an egg when I finished. So toss your old emery-board style grater/zester & get one of these jammies! ... show more

  • Sturdy, easy to handle, does the job.
Style: Grips
Multi purpose, can produce zest or a wide slice for that twist of lemon in your martini.

  • Quite Appealing
Style: Grips
I don't always love the OXO aesthetic but got this based on some recommendations on cooking sites I follow. I gotta say, I love it. Both channel and the strip zesting are super easy and it cleans in a trice. I zested two lemons I didn't even need to just for fun the first time. There was citrus everywhere. • Love it!
Style: Grips
I love this thing! My husband and I started using Hello Fresh recently, we never "zest" anything before (new adults here lol) and on their recipes they call for zesting all the time and we were using a knife which would take forever and the results were not always as good and precise and they are with this little game changer. This is one of those thing that you didn't know you needed but trust me you do need it. ... show more

  • Solved a problem I’ve had for years
Style: Grips
I’ve always dreaded zesting. I wasn’t ever sure if I’d removed enough zest or too little. I was also a little paranoid about cutting myself. Somehow I found this product and voilà! All problems and concerns instantly resolved. It’s so wonderful feeling like you know what the heck you’re doing. For those with workshops, wrapping your citrus in a towel and using a bench clamp to hold it could up your zest game to god level. ... show more

  • Best zester I have tried!
Style: Grips
OXO 11261400 Good Grips Citrus Zester One Size Black This zester currently holds #1 position as the best zester I have tried to date! (Update: the Victorinox zester with the polypropylene handle now ties for first place with this Oxo zester - to compare the two please check out my other reviews or search for the item on Amazon and look for my review on the product page) This Oxo zester zests easily without much pressure and zest is perfect unlike some of the other zesters I have tried that produce shredded strips with torn edges. I don’t mind the wide thick handle myself, but I have long fingers for a woman. I’m 5’ 11” so I find that this zester fits comfortably in my hand and I like the tapered shape of it. If you are far more diminutive than me then you might want to check out my review for the Victorinox zester/s (Wood or the polypropylene handle) instead. If the chunky handle on this Oxo zester doesn’t turn you off, this zester is a great choice. It gets five stars from me. This was the only zester I tried that the channel knife on the side of the zester worked well too. (FYI The Victorinox zester doesn’t have a channel knife) For my other zester reviews check out my profile page. I have also put all of the zesters I have tried to date in an ideas list so you can find them easily (please note some of them got 1 star from me, so please read each of my reviews for them before you select one from my ideas list) If this review has been helpful to you please check out my other reviews. I review a lot of kitchen products and recipe books and other household items. You could also navigate to my profile and follow me to be notified when I post another review. I spend a lot of time on my reviews to help like-minded customers filter through all the crap out there. I hope that this has been helpful to you :) ... show more
