Best one I’ve tried from Amazon. Just swirl carefully or yolk will break. I only buy pasture raised eggs so whites are quite thick but if I slowly swirl the yolk it’s usually ok. This fits over the lip of the lip of a bowl and does work. It took awhile to figure out how to fit it correctly on the lip so it wouldn't tip downwards. At first, I thought it wasn't working because it kept dipping down but I finally figured it out. It is easy to use. I bought 3 types of these gadgets and this is my go-to one. ... show more

    • Second time's the charm?
One star off because apparently this thing turns invisible and grows feet after about a year. This is actually my second time purchasing this product, because my first one somehow vanished. For a simple device, it's quite handy and works really well. The holes are just wide enough to drain the whites, but not so big that the yolk wants to slip through, like they used to (a lot!) on my old one. The only yolks that pass through this are the really small ones. And, it attaches to most of my bowls while remaining upright. So, I'm happy with this one. When I first open this up and used it, I noticed that the slits seemed kind of big, like an egg yolk could fit through there in the warmer, the egg, the more likely you’re you’re you’re gonna fall through those sweats and get in your egg whites for all you serious bakers out there. Loved using this until the yolk seeped through and ruined my angel cake mix. Just gotta make sure to keep an eye on it while using and if you see the yolk starting to seep down, throw the yolk away quickly
