I don't have anything against this paddle but it just didn't feel right for me. The handle was too long and it was lighter than what I'm used to using. I know this is a good brand and I'm glad to have this one as an optional paddle because, overall, it's a nice paddle. The texture is good for spin, and I like the overall length for reach. I seem to get better control with shorter handles though. If I were to use this more often, I'd definitely wrap the handle with an extra grip wrap. ... show more

Diving into pickleball headfirst had me try this one right after the solid wood, most basic paddles. What a world of a difference there is between the two of those. This paddle almost feels like the ball explodes off of it, while still giving you grip on the ball in case you'd like to apply spin.
