The media could not be loaded. My son just started kindergarten and he’s a lot smaller than others cause he was born 15 weeks early, premature. He’s not strong enough to push those contiguous water bottle buttons. The lever where the handle is to open and close is genius and perfect for my son. It has a little lock on the back that he can use as well. The quality is amazing and it keeps his water cold from morning until way after school. Haven’t leaked yet. He usually throws it into his rocket ship design backpack since it doesn’t have a water bottle pocket. It is very beautiful, easy to clean, and keeps the water cold for a long time; the only thing that I don't like about this water bottle is that it bends very easily if it hits a hard surface.

We LOVE owala and their water bottles. My husband and I each have the adult ones and were so excited to get one for our 1 year old daughter. She loves it we love it BUT to my HORRER I noticed yesterday after months of using it that mold forms and grows in the upper part of this straw. There were no instructions about taking apart to clean so I had to figure it out that you can indeed take off the upper straw and clean it. The mold growing was so bad I had to leave it soaking overnight in hot soapy water and even still there is some mold residue. Really too bad because we love this bottle. So if you're getting it, make sure to take apart fully to clean it from the beginning! ... show more

I tried alllllllll the bottles there are to try for my kids and nothing compares to Owala! Drinks stay ICE COLD, it does not leak, and my kids love opening the bottles! I love how they made it so that dirty fingers don't get near the spout area.

So this was our 4th Owala kids cup- we love them! My 3 year olds love the open & Closing mechanism. I was excited about this one (the teal & pink) bc the colors were so stinking cute. Unfortunately when I opened it, the lid was in the open position & would NOT close. The locking mechanism was obviously broken, and you couldn’t visualize the switch at all. In addition to that, the cup was wet on the inside. Wet as in *very* wet with droplets coating the entire inside, like it had water in it that had been shaken in transit. It also had no stickers that the water bottles come with when you buy them new. (We’ve bought several at this point.) So, I received a used, broken water bottle that my three year old couldn’t understand why she couldn’t use.
