We purchased this outdoor run for our new flock of chickens. We purchased the 10x20 design. So far we are extremely pleased. We purchased extra zip ties for security. We are also creating a more secure base so predators cannot dig under the edge. The tarp provided is nice for shade and protecting our chicken coop on the back. Pros: 1. Sturdy design 2. Straightforward directions and assembly 3. Customizable 4. Arrived quickly and as advertised 5. Easy to move if you want to rotate your chicken yard. Keep in mind: 1. I have bought 2 of these now. One for my chickens and another for my turkeys. They are easy to assemble. I had the whole frame build in about 30ish minutes to an hour. The wire is easy to put on if u have help.

Updated: I would still stay away from this design if you live in an area with any type of precipitation as the tarp will collect the water/snow and cause structural issues. That said, when I reached out to the seller about the issues, they responded quickly and resolved the issue 100%. I would not hesitate to buy from this seller, I would just not buy this particular design. I have been battling with the flat roof on this run since the first time it rained. You are unable to pull the wire tight enough to prevent sags in the tarp, leading to water collection. I have to go out after every rain event and siphon the top of the tarp. Yesterday was a pretty major rain event we got about 2 inch of rain overnight. I came out to find the run was destroyed this morning. No saving this, it is not scrap. The top tubing is bent in half to the point of no return. I have 3 other runs that are similar to this, but without the flat roof design, no issues with them. Stay clear of this one unless you live in a dessert ... show more

    • You WILL need more Zip Ties than what they send you

I actually really like this product. The framework is very easy to put together. It is light and portable if you want to move it place to place after your birds graze down the grass. 3 things... 1. putting the wire on takes quite a bit of time, but it is generally easy 2. you will need a lot more zip ties than the 300 they send you. yes you can put it together with what they send...but to make it properly secure...you will need more. 3. you will need a power drill to put some of the screws in. No holes but self tapping screws so it is not that difficult. I will probably be buying this product again as I expand next year. ... show more

    • Cheap and Flimsy

Nice size, easy to assemble, uses normal chicken wire that is coated in some sort of plastic. The wire is held on with zip ties, which doesn’t look very nice, but I guess it will do. Just have to go around and nip off the ends. This thing is definitely NOT predator proof! I would not put chickens in it without having a secure coop for them to go into at night. Even putting something under it is not going to keep predators out. Eventually I will put better fencing on it and use wire ties. I don’t have it anchored down yet, so I left the tarp off of the end. I don’t want the wind to catch it and tear up the whole pen. I bought the largest size, so if the wind caught that tarp I’m afraid it would twist the whole frame. All in all, I really don’t think it is worth the money. It snaps together just like changing tools on my vacuum. It would be much better if it had brackets to hold it together. Better fencing, some good ground anchors, wire ties, and a heavy duty frame would make this pen much better. I would rather pay more for good quality, than spend this much money for junk. I only gave 3 stars because it’s easy to assemble, and it will keep your chickens in. Just don’t expect it to keep predators out ... show more

The package came earlier than expected. It was very easy to put together. I took my time installing the chicken wire. It is perfect for my needs with 3 chickens. We love it because it is large and long and and already built. We are using it for our chickens. The only problem is it’s not strong enough by itself to ward off large animals. We had to reinforce it with electrical power. Thanks to that wire it did the job by keeping a large bear and her cub out of it. Very happy about that!! ... show more

I don’t think this was built for a permanent shelter more to move around your yard. It seems a bit wobbly when you move it does nothing to tighten up on each other to make it more sturdy. But I was able to put it together in 20 minutes
