I use these for UV protection when I play golf and do other outdoor activities. I'm always suspicious of "one size fits all", since I have very long (36"), skinny arms, but these are long enough and fit snugly. Even if I had bigger muscles, I think these would still fit me fine. I also like the ribbed texture (ribbed for my pleasure?) I have a skin condition that causes me to get itchy arms when exposed to the sun, but these sleeves prevent that from happening, so I know they are giving me the UV protection they advertise. They aren't "cool", but they definitely aren't as warm as wearing long sleeves. I can wear these for hours without having to adjust them or pull them up. They stay in place well. The only negative comment I have is about the stitching. I noticed a couple of areas where the stitching has pulled out even after just one or two wearings. So I have doubt that these will last a long time. But they are comfortable and effective enough that I will probably buy them again if needed! ... show more

I got these recently and they seem fine. The fabric and build quality is as nice as others I've had, but early signs are they won't be too durable. 4 stars is for arm sleeves in general. I would love to love them, as I really like the sun protection and the cooling thing does work, but I find them to be dirt magnets and not very durable. If I get 6 or 7 wears out of a pair without them becoming unusable that would be a lot. I hike and spend time in environments where my arms encounter sticky prickly objects like bushes, trees, etc., and the fabric generally does not stand up to that sort of thing. You'd think you could bleach the white ones and they'd look clean, but even that doesn't work. These particular ones are fine relative to all the others I've tried, and at least they are cheaper. I wouldn't bother with expensive ones, and instead buy a lot of cheap ones and expect that they won't last long. At least you'll save on sunscreen. ... show more

Love these for use under the popular 3/4 sleeve clothing so much available in older women’s clothes. I have thin arms and am surprised how well they stay up high on my arm. They are light but add warmth because they are close to the skin. I only got white which is nice and sharp looking. I am ordering more colors. I didn’t try to see how much they would stretch out but I think they would be too tight for someone with a large upper arm. I have started using these for when I play pickleball and basketball outdoors and I bought these because it was advertised that the sleeves will protect from the sun as well as keep you cool. This is some sort of sorcery - it actually feels better to put these on outdoors in the hot sun rather than going bareskin for your arms. How does that make sense?! I also love the fact that the once you put on the sleeves, they don't roll down and hold where you originally had them on no matter how much you move around. These are fantastic. Long to the wrist. Very stretchy so not too tight. Protect from the sun. Wash well. I have thin arms so not sure how the fit would feel on larger arms. Best material I’ve found for these types of sleeves at a fair price!

My upper arms are not that big, but these sleeves are very tight there, almost cutting my circulation off. Otherwise, I like them...just can't wear for very long.
