I've been using these in the garden and they've done a great job protecting my arms from the harsh sun. They fit well, just need to make sure the tops are straight and not rolled at all, or they'll continue to roll and down as you wear them...like panty hose I guess. What I noticed about them and why I came back to write a review is that they keep my arms cool.. Any time a breeze hits them or I sway my arms emphatically, especially in the hot sun, they actually get cool, like noticeably cool.. I've washed them twice without issue. They're pretty inexpensive and I would buy them again easily. I purchased them in white. *update* Just came back from a backpacking trip where I was sun exposed all day long for 5 days.. these worked great.. at the end of the trip my arms were tanner, but they weren't burned and I easily would have been, otherwise.     • Perfect active long sleeves
I bike a ton, and with the hot summer weather, I hate wearing clothing that covers up my skin. However, with all the hours I spend outside biking, I need to cover up from the sun. These sleeves are great. I can tell they protect my skin from the UV rays, because my skin does not get too hot while out in the sun. Yet, these are very lightweight and thin material, so I'm not suffocating in them. Since they're so lightweight and thin and stretchy, they're very easy to slide on my arms. They do stay up pretty well for a few hours while I'm biking. I have never had an issue with them falling down my arms, no matter how far up I pull them. Sometimes I do have to pull them up just a bit in the beginning, but once I'm biking they stay put. The blue sleeves are my favorite, because they just look nice I think and really pop. The blue sleeves also make me stand out a little bit better while biking, so no one hits me. I just wear a t-shirt , and the sleeves fit nicely underneath, making it look like I'm wearing another layer under my t-shirt, but I'm not, and there's no added bulk! ... show more

I got these for when I'm on the shooting range and don't want to wear a long sleeve shirt in the heat. They worked great and even had a cooling aspect like they say. Protected me from the sun. So I bought two sets of these a year ago. They work great and have great quality, but they're WAY too tight around my bicep. I don't work out very much so I would say I have average sized man arms, but these things get uncomfortable after about 2 hours of wear. Now that I've worn them for some time, the elastic is work in and they're way better, BUT now they are full of holes and I need to buy new ones. I wish these fit better. ... show more

Its hot. Its summer. I want to wear short sleeves while transfering split wood from the seasoning stacks into the wood shed. Bark ate up my arm feirce.
