Our fence was weather proofed about 4 years ago; but this year, it started to show some places where the sprinklers were hitting it a little too hard, and weather was beginning to show. We don't get much inclement weather here in central Texas; but we do get a fair amount of rain at certain times of year, and a lot of high humidity at most times of the year. So we thought we would try this product on the fence, and see how it works. We got the Golden Oak color, which reads a little orange to me; but as it's for an outdoor fence, just the side that faces into our back yard, it's not that big of a deal. If you're worried, just go with the transparent color option. It was easy to apply, using our paint sprayer, which cleaned up easily, and did not gum up during spraying. We had a few of our grandkids come help with it, and they didn't have any problems with it, either. It will take some time to see if the product actually works as it should; but so far, so good. ... show more

This stuff is pretty amazing. It brought an old weathered porch wood back to life. I opted for the Oak colored oil thinking a little brown to my grey would be nice, but it oiled up to look just like the picture. I'm not sure how long it lasts, though they claim it will. But so far, so great. I've heard about oils like this before but never tried it. If it bears reporting after winter how it held up, I will come back and update. We likely won't get anything harsh until March this year. But, so far, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again for other outdoor wood that needs resuscitation. It's a miracle worker.     • Easy to use and oak color is beautiful

We have new fencing in a side yard and we hadn't weatherproofed it yet. I got this and it was very easy to use. I used a paint sprayer and was able to get the fence, both sides, done in a few hours. The color looks really nice and it seems like it will uphold well to the elements. I've never weatherproofed fencing before so I don't have anything to compare it too, but the container was very large and again, it was very easy to do. ... show more
