  • Pretty good for the weight, for moderate cold
Color: Black Size: Small
Decently good gloves, nice tight fit everywhere except at the ends of the fingers. I have relatively small hands, so I got the small, and if they were any smaller I wouldn't be able to get them on. But still the ends of the fingers have a bit of extra space and are bulkier than they need to be. They work fine on my touchscreen phone, which is nice. My pointer finger isn't very accurate, because it has the most extra material, but I can use it or my middle finger or my thumb. They help a bit with the cold, down to about freezing. I wouldn't use them anywhere below freezing. They are breathable, for sure. I wish they were a bit less breathable on the backs of the fingers, because when riding my bicycle in the cold the air cuts right through. But they are better than nothing, and less bulky than other gloves I've tried. Decently good for the thickness. ... show more

  • I prefer these to the OR Backstop Sensor gloves
Color: Black Size: X-Large
**Short Version: I like the OR Vigor Midweight better than the OR Backstop Sensor Gloves** OR makes a diverse lineup of gloves which is GREAT! It gives us a lot of options. I was considering some gloves in this weight class and had looked at several options. Too thick of a glove and you lose dexterity or may have circulation issues. To thin of a glove, and it is not warm enough. My use case is for cycling in temperatures from 20F to 40F where wind chill is an issue. I thought that the Backstop sensor gloves would be best for this application because they have GoreTex Wind Stopper. When I got the Backstop Sensor gloves home, I got them wet right away and walked around with one glove on one hand, and a Vigor Midweight on the other. Right away, you could tell that with the air passing over it, the Backstop was cooler than the Vigor. Next, got both gloves wet, wrung them out, and weighed them on a gram scale. I hung both out to dry in the sun and then weighed them later. The Backstop was still wet, and the Vigor had almost dried. The Vigor lost a lot more weight. Finally, I can tell you that the Vigor has a lot less bulk than the Backstop. In conclusion, it seems the Vigor is superior in every way to the backstop. I have used all sorts of gloves over the years: Fleece, Pearl Izumi Lobster gloves, shells and liners, neoprene... and I keep coming back to the simple midnight fleece for the best balance of warmth, dexterity, quick drying, and not cutting off circulation. My fingers still get chilly with these gloves when it is in the low 40s or below (with wind chill)... but they still are the best thing I have used in this weight class. ... show more

  • Little rubber grips fall off
Color: Black Size: Medium
Nice gloves initially, but just a month into winter want the little rubber grip dots are mostly gone. FYI I don't work in the it do anything rough to them. I just drive to work

  • Great fit and great performance.
Color: Black Size: Large
Great product, touch works very well. Could use a bit more tackyness on the fingers.

  • Not very warm, cuffs are too tight, sensor tip doesn't work.
Color: Charcoal Heather Size: X-Large
So, all the way around, these are a failure for me. Too thin to be warm, they don't block wind at all, and why the heck are the cuffs on an XL glove so small? The fingers fit fine, but I can barely fit my hand thru the cuff. Once on, you better not need to use the phone, because the sensor tip isn't working on at all. ... show more
