The media could not be loaded. We wanted a modern looking pergola to cover the hot tub from the sun. This is perfect . The top can open and close but we keep it closed for the protection. Mostly water tight when closed . Install is a little time consuming but it is so worth it ! It bolts to the concrete for stability . ... show more

    • Packaging could be better, but amazing customer service
Got the 10x20 in white. Unfortunately, due to medical issues, we weren't able to even begin assembling the pergola for about 9 months after purchase. Upon unboxing it, it's apparent that more care during the packaging/shipping process is needed. There are a few too many corners dented in; still useful, but it's definitely not ideal. There was a LARGE number of pieces missing when we unboxed it and got about halfway through the assembly process; yes, I accept some of the blame, as I could have opened everything up and checked the parts, but many of the boxes are clearly marked as to what's inside, and seeing as how those steps in the process were further out, I didn't want to have a million chunks of steel and aluminum spread around my backyard. My best guess is that a wrong box was included, as I had a massive amount of duplicated parts, while still missing a nearly identical number. Here's where I truly appreciated the seller: once I reported the issue, they asked me to open up every box and make sure I had everything, at which point I discovered how many pieces were missing. Despite me having ordered the pergola nearly a year prior, they didn't even hesitate to ship the missing parts to me, and like I said, there were A LOT. Now, I have the pergola fully assembled, and we're in the middle of an Arizona monsoon, with winds reaching 40-50mph at times; this pergola is SOLID, it barely even wiggles with the wind. The adjustable louvers are awesome. I've been keeping them closed most of the time, due to the Arizona summer, but when they're open, the sunlight is amazing, and closed, the shade is also amazing. Opening and closing them takes just a few seconds for each. Great buy! I just wish the packaging was a little better. ... show more

I'm really happy with the pergola. I've had it up for about 2 months now and no issues. I looks nice and I loved the louvered blinds on the top. I was missing a part and the customer service was so good - they shipped me the replacement right away. Also, I live in Los Angeles and the pergola arrived so fast - definitely much quicker than I thought. I hired someone to install it so I don't know how easy it is to do that part. ... show more

This product looks great and works well. It took us a few days to assemble but we are very happy with the results. During installation we discovered we needed different screws for one of the steps.
