I needed 2 cheap, easy-to-clean, attractive runners for the wooden floor in my rental. I have a dog & a cat and the floor is new. Since it's a rental, I didn't want anything expensive, but I did want something attractive & easy to maintain. I bought 2 of these rugs - 1 for the kitchen (grey/white) & 1 for the bedroom (navy/white). These rugs fit the bill. They comes in several lengths, have a rubber backing so you don't have to worry about them moving around, they're attractive, easy to wash in a standard washing machine, and were reasonably priced.
