I’m writing this review a year later after using the case. I bought back in March 2023 for my iPhone 13pro max and have only now today, April 2024 started to look for a new phone case. For me, a phone case to last a whole year is impressive. Ive dropped my phone so many times , stuffed money, pictures and cards on the back, sat on my phone, stepped on my phone, tossed it on the floor and this case held through. It did its job at protecting my phone. Just now did it start breaking apart a year later. Yes, the edges of the plastic will turn yellow over time because that is to be expected if you’re putting your phone in and out of your pockets or purses, but the actual hard plastic itself doesn’t turn yellow, so you still have a clear case! This case is very worth your money if you’re clumsy like me. Without this phone case, (paired with a glass screen protector) my phone would 100% be in shambles. I’ve dropped my phone so hard to the point it bumps my SIM card out of place leaving me with no internet, but my phone itself, looking brand new when I look at it. I am a big believer in OtterBox cases and recently upgraded my phone at the Apple store. I confess I tend to drop my phone and so I need something that will really protect it and keep it from breaking the glass. This is the first time I have had this style of OtterBox case. It is very easy to hold, easy to grip and isn't at all slippery like some cases can be. It is not as 'heavy-duty' as I usually purchase, but it seems protective enough. I am hoping that is true - but I haven't dropped my phone yet so haven't had to put it to the test. So far so good!! ... show more

My husband is fan of the Otterbox cases and they have kept all his phones safe but with his newest phone he was looking for a sleeker appearance since the phone is pretty and also something light weight. He liked the look of my phone shell by another brand but wanted to stick with his tried and true. This is the second purchase first was in April. He travels a lot, phone is used as a part of his work day so it is taking a lot of handling and placing down. Phone has remained safe with what I have heard were two significant drops, he also incorporated a screen protector which did take a crack but the phone stayed safe. It's a decent case, not much to say, I think the price point is a little high for a clear case/shell. The fade or aging is noticeable could be from sun exposure outdoors, etc., has taken a bit of scratches. He likes it enough to go with this replacement after 7 months and taking in to account the constant handling, set down, in and out of a travel bag. ... show more

I’ve had this case for the last few phones, and it’s become my favorite go-to with every phone. You can show the color of your phone, but most importantly, it does protect well from scratches and falls. Every fall will be different , depending on what you’re doing and how you drop it. I have accidentally dropped my phone on the hardwood floors (with multiple bounces involved), and it also slipped from my bag and fell approximately 4 ft onto the garage concrete. There have been other small drops, though it protected every time. It doesn’t collect lint, has a nice grip/pleasant to hold onto, and maintains a snug fit to your device. I’m not sure why so many people give low stars and complain about the yellowing. It’s a clear case & it’s totally expected! Mine didn’t begin to yellow until the 6-8 month mark, and I wouldn’t consider it “yellow”, but rather slightly “off” colored on the sides compared to the top and bottom. I suppose it would depend on the average person’s hands, and what you put your phone through. Overall great case, and I love the texture/material so much more than its Otterbox Symmetry brothers and sisters (the colored variants of the symmetry series, which are a different material.). I’ve tried dozens of other cases, but always come back to this one! ... show more

I’ve never had an otterbox case before and likely never will again. I thought they had a reputation for high quality phone cases. The description even noted that this all-clear case is resistant to yellowing. In less than 10 weeks, the case has yellowed significantly (see included photos). It has also bent out of shape in several places and the bottom is completely pulling away and has broken (also seen in photos). This case has not gotten hard use. It mostly moves from my pocket to my desk. Considering this wasn’t some novelty case and it’s from a brand which prides itself on quality, this is a joke.
