OtterBox is definitely known for its durability. However, along with being great protection for my phone, it’s surprisingly light compared to some of the other cases I’ve had. After getting my iPhone 13 promax, I got a case, and a magnetic pop socket. The phone is heavy as it is, and with the case and pop socket magnet it was way too heavy! I’ve been an Otterbox fan, and consumer for years. I love the colors on this case! And the pop socket is a great addition. I’ve had many different cases for my iPhone 13 Pro Max, and this case is by far the best. It’s a nice snug fit, and I have peace in mind knowing that my phone is well protected.

I just got this case and so far I like it. I like that the pop socket is more flush with the case when it’s closed. It doesn’t catch when I put it in my pocket. It was a little difficult to put on, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. At least my phone feels secure. There is a bit of an issue by the volume buttons. The case sticks out a tiny bit. Also, it doesn’t wirelessly charge like it claims. But, not too big of a deal, my Loopy case couldn’t wirelessly charge either. Overall, I’m happy with it. General impression: The case graphic is printed with a matte finish. I wonder if it will fade over the areas that are frequently touched. I’ll see in time I guess. In person, the back image has muted primary highlighter colors - florescent yellow, hot magenta, electric blue. I dig it. Pros: Compared to the iPhone 11 Max pop symmetry case I used prior, the back has a more shallow curve so it lays a bit more flat (NOT actually flush against a table surface). Love this improvement. The back lens cutout has a lip high enough to extend past lens protection accessories. Much appreciated. Light in weight. Cons: Here is where I wonder if this is a knockoff … Around the volume and power buttons, the case has a sort of lifted cutout so your touch finds the buttons easier (ok cool). Unfortunately, there are also cutout buttons on the interior of the case in the same place. As a result, when your iPhone is in the case, the lip edge is a little warped around those buttons. This seems like an error in manufacturing. I hope this doesn’t impact the product’s efficacy to protect the device. Conclusion: I bought it at a competitive sales price, so I’ll keep it. Bought used but in very good condition.. it’s like new! Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Got it half the price.. I like the fact that the pop socket is attached. That way it don’t come off. When I buy the stock on kinds they always come off.. it seems durable and fits my iPhone 13 Pro Max great!
