I have used the "traditional" Defender cases for my last couple of phones, and I've always appreciated the feeling that my phone was bulletproof. Yes, the cases were big and bulky, but I've dropped my phones hundreds of times without any problem. I was perfectly willing to make that tradeoff. This was my first foray into a Magsafe Defender case. If you're coming from a regular Defender case, the first thing you notice is that the material is plastic vs rubber. It's also not as big and bulky. It "feels" less protective, but it is still highly rated, and it actually feels good. Not having that extra bulk of a traditional Defender case is something that I have come to enjoy. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is a big phone, and I was worried about whether it would stay on the angled Magsafe charger. It does. Perfectly. Part of that may be a function of the charger itself, but the magnets inside this case certainly help. Charging is fine through the case. No issue. This case is pretty much the best you can get if you want maximum protection but still want to use wireless charging. Only downside is the high cost, but that's always been an issue with Otterbox cases. ... show more

So far, this is the only case that I have used over the years that actually seems to protect the screen of the phone. This case has a nice feature with a bezel that gets inserted after you snap the case on your phone you snap this bezel lip onto the case, and it protects the edge of the screen, so far I’ve had no cracked screen protectors when using this phone case and that has not been the case with all the previous phone cases that I’ve used over the past 9 years. ... show more

I had lifeproof cases for years, but with the cameras on the 15, I didn’t want the cover interfering. Can’t say that it does, but I didn’t want to risk it. I got separate, individual camera & screen protectors instead. This case feels super sturdy, side buttons are smooth. Remember to separate the liner around the border before you put your phone in, and then put it back on. Very easy to do and makes it feel secure. Phone cases are too much money these days, I paid $60 and that was with a discount… but I had no choice. What's not to like - this case is rock solid and thinner than many in this arena - a must as the iPhone 15 Pro Max is already a brick. Works well with all mag case accessories - and the free case clip direct from the company was a nice bonus. Highly recommend.

I've owned the before they are durable cases. They do add considerable dimension to the phone. Approx. 3/8in or 10mm to length and width and approx. 3/16in or 5mm to thickness. If size matters to you. I had to return it because my screen protector interfered with the inner bezel. I was unable to get the bezel to lock into the case properly. ... show more
