My previous cervical pillow (different brand, which is no longer sold) I had for 5 yrs but had to toss because it became way too dense/firm for me and it felt like i was sleeping on a rock. Reluctantly, I began sleeping on a traditional bed pillow and was waking up with a stiff/sore neck and was always feeling tired. After reading numerous cervical pillows reviews, I decided on the Osteo cervical pillow and am glad I did! PROS: -After just one night, my neck felt immediate relief. -Pillow has two different height options (just rotate the pillow). One side is more comfortable for back sleeping and the other for side sleeping. -I did remove the center foam insert as the pillow was still a little too high for me and it’s now perfect! -While this pillow is firm/supportive, the memory foam also has the right amount of ‘give’, so when you lay your head on it, it ever so slightly conforms to you. My old cervical pillow (again, different brand) would feel like my cheek was pressed up against a rock but the Osteo pillow, has just the right amount of softness for me. -The pillow is offered in two sizes (Queen and Standard). I purchased the Queen (very happy with it), which I’d say is comparable to the size of a traditional pillow. CON: -The pillow did have a slight smell, which dissipated after a few days. I immediately washed the pillow case and protective covering and that helped. -This isn’t really a con but more so an FYI to potential buyers. It took a few nights to adjust to the pillow but can say I’m now sleeping soundly and wake up feeling refreshed. Let’s face it, pillows are so subjective and finding the right pillow is like finding a needle in a haystack. I’ve owned practically every type of pillow there is and am happy I tried the Osteo pillow. I’ll be buying a second one soon so I have a back up ;) ... show more

I am genuinely shocked at how comfortable this pillow is, and that it worked for the problem I bought it for. I have had neck pain for so long I pretty much took it for granted as being how my neck was supposed to feel. I bought this pillow not really having high hopes. The pictures of it don't look comfortable. I thought it was going to be too low. No. It is extremely comfortable and the perfect height. I can't say how it compares to the many other pillows out there with similar designs. But I can say that it is nice, seems high quality, very comfortable, I think it is cooling. Short version: I’ve had this pillow for a month. I had chronic neck pain and now I don’t. Long version: I had been dealing with neck pain daily for several months. I wasn’t sure why, but eventually discovered it was for sure my pillow. I had a 15yo tempurpedic pillow and I guess it had hit its end of life (even tho visually it looked just the same). I tried various pillows we had around the house as well as an Avocado brand pillow. None of them worked. I even tried sleeping with no pillow. My neck continued to ache, and sometimes in new ways when I changed pillows. One day, someone I follow on IG happened to share in passing that her husband used this specific pillow and she linked to its Amazon listing. I was skeptical—I kinda thought pillows shaped like this were just a gimmick. But at the price point and with free returns, it was worth trying it out. Really glad I did—no more neck aches. Actually, the first moment after I laid my head down on the pillow, I was overwhelmed with how comfortable it was. But I felt old myself to remain calm—I needed to give it time to see if it really worked. It’s now been around a month, and I’m still impressed. Notes: the first couple nights, it seemed a little hard, but either it softened a bit or my head got used to it. The packaging came with directions on how to use the pillow. I followed those.
