When I considered purchasing this, I read a number of reviews claiming that these were somehow overly large "horse pills". Maybe for some they are.. What I received today, and what I just took, were no bigger than MANY other vitamins or medicines.. I think there is some sensationalism and piling on going on here. I have some Vitamin Shoppe Calcium/Magnesium pills that are larger, and the last time I had to have Amoxicillin, those pills were noticeably larger. Yes, these are on the large size, but not overly so, and if you have trouble taking pills, as some do, you will probably want to take them with applesauce or similar.. Amazon does also have a pill crusher available for purchase here, which is an option.. The benefits of this supplement are worth the trouble in any event. I almost didn't purchase this due to this reason, thinking they were huge.. Glad I bought them anyway. ... show more

Seems to help a little but....VERY HARD TO SWALLOW! Big horse pill says they are coated but that doesn't help. I cut them in half..and half is hard to swallow as well.

The makers of these vitamins have generously included a FULL half-bottle of glucosair... air that has to be enriched by glucosamine! Be careful not to waste this! (Crack the bottle open and take a deep whiff!) Though the FDA makes it almost impossible to prove glocosair actually helps with joint pain, the fact that the company devotes so much space to it makes me optimistic. ... show more

I purchased this supplement for my 82 year old mom with knee and joint issues. According to the package you should see some sort of improvement within 7 days, but with my mom there’s no improvement. Infact her joints are still stiff and she can barely move them so for her it’s not working.
