I ordered this for the bedroom and bought it from Amazon warehouse. Then I read reviews and became nervous. It was too late to cancel so I waited for it to arrive and really believed that I'd be returning it based on other reviews and the fact that it was probably returned in the first place since it was now discounted. When it arrived, I put it together with ease and there were no flaws, the cushions weren't wrinkled whatsoever, and I have to say that I love it! It's important to listen to the instructions when it says not to tighten screws yet--perhaps that is why people aren't finding the pieces to line up properly?! It's really sturdy and comfortable for reading in and I'm glad that I kept it. The only irritating thing was about the packaging itself--miniscule Styrofoam pieces all over the place that were hard to vacuum up and they loved static! Otherwise, the chair is great. ... show more

Well made and looks very nice. Finish and cushions appear premium but the seat cushion is super firm and uncomfortable. Would still recommend for looks but not so much for function.

First photo is before ironing the back cushion cover, second photo is after ironing. For the price, this is a great little chair. Lots of reviews said that the back cushion was wrinkled, even after steaming or putting in the dryer. So I got out the old ironing board and iron, turned the back cushion cover inside out, spritzed lightly with water and ironed on steam on high. Wrinkles gone! The piping seems to have a wire in it, so I mushed that around too. Easy assembly and so far it seems sturdy, is weighty enough and totally worth the price. It’s definitely not a ‘come in from yard work, grab a slice of pizza and plop down for the big game’ kind of chair, but it’s comfortable, much better for my back than the old cushy chair it’s replacing, and super clean looking. The wood is the color of cream and the ‘linen’ polyester fabric is more natural/oatmeal than white. I can see some staples on the arm cushion part, and I may try to add a layer of batting to the seat cushion to soften the edges a bit, but overall I am very happy. I’m off to get some scotchguard, cute lumbar pillows and maybe a footstool (I’m 5’6”). ... show more

My husband spilled water in the seat and it stained it. I tried cleaning it and it just kept growing and now the stain is horrible and embarrassing. No idea how to get rid of a water stain.

I’ve been dying to write this review. After months of eyeing this chair I finally pulled the trigger and purchased it. It arrived quickly and on time, packaged ok (the back pillow was distorted but after a few days went back to shape). Now for the good stuff- i recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton Bacara Santa Barbara and they had to he EXACT same chairs (different colors!) in their suites! I was shocked and excited!! The chair is firm, comfortable, sturdy, easy to put together (took me about 15 min) and most importantly, looks beautiful with my neutral coastal country vibe living room. Would highly recommend and would definitely purchase again- likely 2! ... show more

So, I ordered my first chair and the holes were not lining up to attach the cushion on the back- the original hole on the back legs is angled, and the hole on the cushion is straight. The angle does not match, so as hard as you try, you cannot get the bolt in. So disappointing!! I had to Google a customer service number, and thankfully got in touch with Maria who promptly sent me a replacement seat part. It was perfect! I cannot say enough about how great their customer service is. The chair is absolutely beautiful, looks so much more expensive than it is. I know it’s still a little pricey for an accent chair, but it really is worth it. Very sturdy, easy to put together. Love it! ... show more

When purchasing I imagined the distressed finish referred to on the chair as distressed "paint" finish. Oh no. The distressed part is the very poor sanding of the wood, lots of rough spots, dents, crisscrossed marks in the wood, poor joining, just overall very poor finish. If you are expecting a smooth wood finish, think again. This chair could have done with at least two more rounds of sanding before the paint was applied. Looks like they used inferior damaged wood and did not bother to smooth out much of anything. Thankfully the back is most distressed and the pillow covers most of it and is against a wall. Too much of a hassle to return and after I ordered price went down $20.00! They do not do price adjustments. Very disappointed. ... show more
